Two-hundred episodes young. PolyCast (PC), the bi-weekly podcast giving the Civilization community an interactive voice on game strategy, is set to record Episode 200 on May 24th, 2014 from 12-2PM Eastern Time (North America). For part of the first hour Ed Beach, Dennis Shirk, Barry Caudill and Kevin Schultz from Civ developer Firaxis Games are to be on to help celebrate as well as to field questions about Civilization: Beyond Earth set for release this fall.
Regular co-hosts Daniel "DanQ" Quick, "Makahlua", Philip "TheMeInTeam" Bellew and "MadDjinn" are to be joined throughout the recording by more than twenty past guest co-hosts, including but not limited to Civ modder turned game developer Derek "Kael" Paxton, game journalist Jonah Falcon, Civilization Players League Co-Owner Jon "CanuckSoldier" Ryder and Michael "emeseles" Lucas-Smith with a record eight appearances to date.

The Civilization strategy-centric podcast PolyCast (PC) is currently in its eighth season and nearing its two hundredth episode. To help celebrate this impending production milestone, a previously unreleased installment from its first season is being made available for the first time. During this season and this season only, the "Cut!" side series served as a compilation of cut moments from episode recordings. Seven years to the month that the show's sixteenth episode was recorded, its "Cut!" companion has been published.
Featuring the four original regular co-hosts Daniel "DanQ" Quick, Wouter "Locutus" Snijders, "Makahlua" Imran "Imran Siddiqui" Siddiqui and the first appearance of guest co-host Bruce "Grandpa Troll" Kronkite, its runs for 42m17s. Long-time listeners to PolyCast may recall learning that one of these regular co-hosts, in leaving the recording early, once forgot to disconnect from the conference call. Now they, and all listeners, can hear this event unfold for themselves also for the first time. This also marks the first release of a "Cut!" edition in more than four years.

In 2016 under the Civilized Communication banner, Civilization fans can look forward to the ongoing production of three podcasts. More Civ co-operative multiplay is to be had in the sixth season of TurnCast, further exploration of modding in the series on the eighth season of ModCast and greater Civ strategy conversations on the landmark tenth season of PolyCast. Episodes of the latter most are to continue to be recorded live every other Saturday starting at 12PM ET (North America), starting January 9th (timezone converter).
Meanwhile, efforts to restart the Civ social SCivCast to now focus on the recently released Civilization Online will be ongoing having begun at the end of last year. Elsewise, the dramedy series One More Turn is to record and release its fourth season, the thirteen episodes of which are currently being written. Before that the third season blooper reel and commentary is to be released by January's end.
