The polls - this recent Rasmussen poll, as well as a Survey USA poll from a couple months ago - show it to be a close race. I don't see any particular reason to think that they're wrong. Check again, the Dem primary doesn't use the EC. It's a proportional representation system (with the exception of superdelegates, which are now virtually tied). Clinton would lose even if she won 65% of the votes in each upcoming state.

Actually, the system is contra-proportionate representation. If you were to count it like the EC does, then Hillary would be way ahead of obama. 3-2 ratio. That's huge. With true proportionate representation the math is almost even.
I honestly don't see why people would support Obama over Hillary from an electoral standpoint. Hillary is much stronger then Obama in the general.

Maybe some centrists but the far right? I know they said they'd never vote for McCain because he wasn't a raving evangelical but at the end of the day most of them will vote for him over a "godless" Democrat. The few that won't will just stay home.Originally posted by MrFun
