It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple

She's not young; read my first post on this. This woman from Texas whom I'm acquainted with, is in her 50s at least. And she is saying she will vote for Obama before she ever votes for McCain.

Texas? Yeah, her vote for Obama is basically a non-vote, then.

Texas will go Republican, so your friend's vote doesn't mean squat.

                      • Optimistic about what? I never said that it was probable that Obama would win TX.

                        • The fact that you even suggest the mere possibility is overly optimistic.

                          • Obama will be lucky to hold onto states like Connecticut, New Jersey and New Hampshire.

I really don't get the optimism? Hillary won't quit before Kentucky and WVA which she will win, or Oregon, where she will be competitive.

I guess I need to buy some more Obamaid.

More importantly, you should stop pretending you understand America.
