      • The numbers I was referring to were WHO 2014 numbers, age adjusted pneumonia/influenza deaths per country. Here's a chart:

Interactive Charts and Maps that Rank Influenza and pneumonia as a Cause of Death for every country in the World.

        • Here's another source for pneumonia deaths in Greece:

Not a high number (I think lower than the US in this case), but obviously not 0.

Here's a source talking about antibiotic resistant pneumonia in Greece:

You're just being ridiculous when you try to pretend there is no pneumonia in Greece.

It is "death rate from", not "cases of".

                  • figure of speech.
it's virtually non existant if your brain barely function and just get to the doctor for free if you get a fever
if you don't... then your loss

hospital infections is another beast as is resistent bugs due to oversubscription of antibiotics (we give them by the spades)

                      • "Death rate from" is very different than "cases of".

That's not true either. The system may have its problems, but free and/or cheap clinics offering basic to intermediate benefits are available. And many states provide free health care for those who make below a specific income margin.

Greece has seen a massive depression in recent years which led to the healthcare budget cut drastically.

Our healthcare system, while problematic and inconsistent, is still better than that of Greece or Russia. Now if you brought up Canada, Japan or Germany you could have a point... But you don't.
For there is [another] kind of violence, slower but just as deadly, destructive as the shot or the bomb in the night. This is the violence of institutions -- indifference, inaction, and decay. This is the violence that afflicts the poor, that poisons relations between men because their skin has different colors. - Bobby Kennedy (Mindless Menance of Violence)
