  • I'm just passing judgement on what I think would be best for the American people.

More of the same **** sandwich government that sees America in decline, yes by international standards, or a chance at someone to break some of the china and create change. Change gives chances. Chances yield growth. All it takes is a crack and weeds will break out. Today's weed could be tomorrows GE or Intel.

    • Trump doesn't seem to be a normal businessman.

His business model seems to be based on extracting rents from banks/government/small time contractors due to his (reputation) for extreme wealth.

Your beleif would be at least partially true for Bloomberg or Romney.

It would be very true for either of them.

I don't think it is untrue of Trump. Is he a creature of the environment? Yes.

Does that mean he understands what the environment is and how to change it. Yes, he has the tools. Reagan was a governor before he flew over DC and pointed out the 'problem.'

Would he sell influence to whomever has a cheque, domestic or foreign? Unknown. We do know the answer for Hillary. It's a 'hell yes!'

        • Neither Trump or Clinton is what is best for anyone (except maybe Trump or Clinton). Or good. Or even acceptably moderately crappy.

Change can be positive or negative. What's cracking and how matters ... a lot. American business is doing very well, we don't need cracks to help out there. We could use better distribution.

          • I'm curious.. I can kind of see the appeal to people of having a hugely successful businessman or woman running the country. I don't particularly agree with the logic, but it makes sense at least. If you can run a massively successful business, then perhaps you could transfer those skills onto the national finance.

            But..

Trump isn't a massively successful businessman. In fact he's a terrible businessman, who has gone through multiple bankrupcies, is almost certainly worth considerably less than he claims, and who inherited a fortune that would today make him one of the richest people in America if he hadn't tried to run any businesses at all, and had instead just invested it. Are those really the skills people want transfered across to running the worlds largest economy?

            • Trump managed to run lots of businesses into the ground without his personal fortune being affected, maybe he can do the same with America's debts to China

              • Yes, I imagine he will be able to run America's debts to China into the ground without affecting his personal fortune.

                • Trump could be the American Julius Ceasar. Instead of conquering France he will conquer Mexico. They will all become citizens and the problem of illegal immigrants will largely be solved.

He will be the guy who starts getting rid of the republic, it's the one who comes next who will be the actual emperor supreme, who will ensure the growth of the economy and the expansion of the empire.

The tools are already in place (NSA), they just need to be put to good use. It's a legitimate method to make America Great Again.

Except Trump is an idiot compared to Romney or Reagan. You just don't seem to get it. Where have you been the past year

Not to mention the incredible damage he would do to minorities in this country...

Like the hundreds of millions he owes to China himself. He hasn't been able to get rid of that.

That's utter nonsense. Trump isn't going to create change and he will throw people under the bus. The man is stupid and doesn't have a clue what he is doing.

The best for the people? How about you consider all of us in this country for a change? He would throw many under the bus.

I am so disgusted right now. This man only considers himself and no one else.

I'm sure of it. And I can't stand the thought of Reagan. An Alzheimer's afflicted Reagan is smarter than Trump.

I am just horrified that people think he would be best for the American people. Think about us all please!
