I also compare Obama to republicans and can easily state that.

OneFoot will bring up some lousy out of context video to peddle a pro-GOP agenda, but Obama himself has recently stated she is one of the most qualified candidates in history.

It doesn't help your argument you totally ignore ratios. Your rate of infection is higher. The US has a population more than your double yours.

Your entire health care system is a disaster, so you aren't in a position to talk about preventive care.

Insufferable? For what? Pointing out the flaws of Russians hypocritically criticizing America's health care system? Our preventive care is far more effective than your own! Period.

And I think this country would be better off with a universal healthcare system.

By the way, death rates and infection rates have actually declined in the past few years (look at rates, not just pure numbers). Russia's have soared and your death rate is one of the worst if you are counted in Europe.

Edit: 142 million - Russia, 324 million US. To be more accurate. Accuracy is not a priority for Putin's army of internet trolls.

And let's not even talk about how many Russians die from the flu. So much for preventive medicine.
Oh, go screw yourself, Giancarlo. Do the math again and you will see that I am right. The 1.5 million is not even a government reported figure, it's an independent estimate. Oerdin is an easily excitable russophobe as well, but he is at least more chill and knows the difference between Serb, Ellestar and me. Show me the data from 2012-2015 if you want to debate further, 2011 was the latest year I could find that had comparable statistics for both countries.

I don't care for bigotry and several of the Russians here have displayed more than enough towards me. How do you expect I react towards you? Your nation is busted and broken.

And how do you get independent figures out of Russia? You didn't even corroborate those numbers with any sort of links or sources. The fact is more Russians die before 65 then in any other western country.

I am interested in death rates and your nation exceeds most Western countries by a significant margin.

Maybe American ubiquitous ACs are to blame for it as well?
AC doesn't cause pneumonia but I have heard this is a wide spread belief in the former USSR. So wide spread people won't even put ice in their drinks because they think it will give them the flu.

My understanding is that pneumonia is a condition not a disease. Bacteria, viruses, of fungi can cause infection and that infection can give you the condition of pneumonia but one does not catch pneumonia per say.

That's incorrect. It is a viral infection and can be transmitted from person to person.

              • How is bacterial pneumonia different from viral? What's the best way to treat pneumonia and prevent it from reoccurring?

Wow. Oerdin is right and Giancarlo is wrong. I will have to update my tables now. Oerdin may be always wrong, but even he can't keep up with Gian.

                • Try wiki, you wankers. It's not hard. "Pneumonia" means a general condition of inflammation of the lungs, primarily the alveoli. It can be caused by a number of things, typically but not always pathogens. Wiki mentions that medication and autoimmune conditions can also cause pneumonia.

I'm not sure why you are trying to correct me on this, given that I've consistently said throughout this thread that there are many different ways to get pneumonia and never used the term "catch".

In-window or split-systems ACs probably don't, but centralized HVAC systems have lots of long, warm and damp ventilation ducts where bacteria and mold can grow if they are not serviced right.

                            • Crazy train continues to fire on all cylinders. Best reading of current set of national polls is that trump is about 2 back of clinton, only partially inclusive of Clinton's terrible, horrible, no good, very bad weekend (where I believe the story is she called trump voters white trash, burned the American flag, spat on some firefighters and then had a stroke on live tv).

                              • Now it's less than two points difference in a four-way race. This is just wild. If Clinton accidentally farts during a speech, Trump will take the lead. OH BUT THIS ONE POLL IN GEORGIA HAS A LARGER SAMPLE SIZE AND IF SHE MAKES TEXAS SLIGHTLY PINKER who gives a damn? It's beyond sad that the Dem candidate has to use the absurdity of the Electoral College as a crutch to stay ahead of Donald ****ing [I believe that's his legal middle name] Trump.
