  • now course i'm not a great believer in representative democracy, but it must be the sign of a broken system when these kind of abuses are taking place and folk are so blasé about it as long as their side profits. not a healthy situation.

as i said before, i've seen the state inciting violence to blame and discredit anarchists, etc. but one mainstream party doing it to another is quite surprising, and if i were american i would be concerned.

    • Cool story! Wanna share some more?

BTW, I am very concerned about Republicans attempting massive voter fraud. Always. 50,000 voter registrations eliminated. Serious.

Now, they've mostly got college degrees, but ten percent haven't even got a high school diploma. The most recent polls I can find (from last month) indicate that Trump led Hillary by about twenty points in the military. I would guess he enjoys slightly lower support among spooks, significantly higher among cops.

Which makes, "sure, I'll concede, if I win" somewhat worrisome. Not a huge risk, but worrisome. The business end of the state certainly seems to like him better.

        • This is about the most idiotic thing this man has done yet...

Attacking the most popular person in this country (65% approval rating) isn't smart.

Digging his own political grave even deeper.

I have a feeling Michelle is going to eviscerate what is left of his campaign the next two weeks. In a classy way.

Won't matter what some **** tracking poll says now.

            • I want my leaders acting with reasonable speed, but also deliberation, and I certainly don't want them making snap decisions on important matters in the space of seconds without consulting anyone.
              *sigh*

It is possible to have a comprehensive and well-thought out answer to questions during a debate. It's called debate prep! FFS. The ideal is to never face a question you haven't prepared for.

                Non-issue. Trying to divert subject.

You know what's inappropriate? Trump groping women, but I don't see you saying anything about that, big shot.

                • If a man was running for democrat and did the same as Hillary did during the debates, he would have killed it (not literally of course).

Since the candidate is a woman, she's overprepared.

Something tells me 53% of this country will get out in force. Trump has viciously attacked two of the most powerful and respected women in this country.

And something tells me we'll be seeing more of Michelle Obama in the future. Not in 2020. But perhaps 2024.

                  • Oh and this is to you guys who think Russia isn't trying to interfere in this country:

Hackers co-opted web cameras and home routers in a massive attack that disrupted access to Twitter, Spotify and Netflix.

Russia is asking for it. Lets just say... their sh*t internet infrastructure would be easily ruined.

                          • Libertarians are polling at 8% and Greens at 6%. A combined 15% for all third parties (so all other third parties are splitting 1% between them). That is fairly high for third parties historically but I am surprised it is not much higher. Given what a crap sandwich the two major parties have running this year it is a shame the 3rd parties can't break into 20% of the vote. This country really is doomed due to stupid people refusing to demand better.

Totally overstated. Greens are down to 1-3% in most polls I've seen. The Libertarians are doing decently depending on the state... they seem to do well in Maine and New Mexico (Johnson's old state).

Quinnpiac (A Rating from Nate Silver) has Stein down to 1% and Johnson to 7%.

                                Edit: Don't believe me?

                                Johnson 6.5% and Stein 2.5%.

I'm going by national averages. There is NO poll giving the Greens 6%. Not even any state poll. Johnson gets about 6% nationally and either more or less depending on the state.

And one other thing... it's actually McMullin who has more of a chance of taking a state. Utah lol.
