  • Let me reiterate. COckney, you said that you doubt that women make false allegations of rape. I told you that your feelings are no basis for kicking college kids out of school. The discussion then turned to the way these courts opperate. Are you not saying that these men get a fair trial?

If it's a private university attending is a privilege not a right.

But apparently your lack of supporting evidence for your rapist/child support story was. Are you fond of double standards, or just when they apply to your drivellings ?

Why are you so angered by women choosing to stay at home and raise children, Molly?

Only 3%? Seriously? So if you walk into a busy bar there's a good chance there's 3 men present who would rape a woman. You think that's somehow comforting? Alternately in every college year there's probably over a dozen using your figures.

Think about asking that in the mirror.

You are to the men's movement what Ben is to religious people, a liability when you talk about it.

That when those are the kinds of realities you have to deal with, perhaps it's a bit of a ****ty attitude to have when you focus purely on how unfair the world is for men? A couple of dozen potential rapists in a college year, and even if one of them actually rapes someone, by your reasoning unless the college can prove it 100% they have to leave that guy living and studying side by side with their victim and hundreds of other potential targets.

Damn right if a guy gets falsely accused and kicked out of college then that's a terrible travesty and the college boards that consider that stuff should be using as high a standards as they can, but the priority is always going to be to protect rape victims and potential rape victims, because getting raped is a hell of a lot more damaging than getting kicked out of college.

The point that is being made about few men being rapists is that we don't live in a rape culture. This whole thing about getting affirmative consent is an attack on men as a gender. It has nothing to do with rape. So when a man is standing in front of one of theses courts and he's asked how he knew she wanted to have sex and he says, body language, that doesn't mean he's guilty.

I'm sick and tired of you accusing me of wanting women to be raped. I believed rapist should be punished but that every person is innocent until proven guilty. **** off with your hate.

I'm not accusing you of wanting women to be raped, I'm saying that if the things you're complaining about were taken away suddenly, it'd lead to a lot more women being raped. There were very good reasons for these systems to come into existence, and if you're going to take them away you need to replace them with something better. I'm waiting to hear what that is exactly.

True, but that doesn't mean folks should be expelled just because someone accused them of something.

So you don't have an answer to the question then. Just answer this with a simple yes or no: If you could stop these occasional men being unjustly kicked out of college but the cost was more women being raped, would you do it?
