I'm thinking that would be a harder case since wrokers in unions are better protected. In most of the US and Canada you can be dismissed for very little reason.

If a unionised worker could not be suspended or fired for simple allegations, then I would have a harder time seeing students suspended or expelled from publicly funded universities.

Yes, we know you're angry and have issues controlling it. You're still setting your cause back by being an extremely vocal idiot.

            • You're. Really. Not. Helping. kid.

Most men don't care about the **** shows that some men go through in divorce courts, child custody, employment prospects, criminal justice. Why? They're comfortable. They haven't experienced it and the only people who have must be losers. You reinforce that view, because you post and argue your points... not well.

Seriously. The only thing you are accomplishing is to reinforce a kneejerk response among the people who read what you say. That response is, he's a loser. It's a cause for losers. Why should I care?

              • When they hear about it in their community, they think of you. They think another loser is whining.

                Just. Stop.

why don't you read the thread you simpleton.

                  post 254:

a student may face a disciplinary hearing, and face criminal prosecution, over the same incident. in the same way that a person may be sacked for stealing from his employer and also face a criminal prosecution.

you simply need to do some research and think about this a little. all you've done is demonstrated your ignorance of the issues, your inability to read, or to follow an argument, and posted a load of frankly ridiculous bull****. a typical display from you, sadly.

Ok, you are obviously just being very rude and playing some stupid childish game.

No, they are not given a fair trial. They are not presumed innocent. They can't even question the accuser.

as i have already said several times, a disciplinary hearing is not a trial. someone accused of rape has exactly the same rights as someone accused of cheating on an exam or any other infraction of university rules, at a disciplinary hearing. where someone is accused of a crime (such as rape), there may also be a criminal prosecution, in which the accused will enjoy the same rights as any other defendant. we've been over this. it's not a difficult concept.

                            1) Someone who cheats is presumed innocent and has the right to question his accuser. Already told you that *******. Wtf is wrong with you?

                            2) The whole thing started with my statement that your feelings are no basis for kicking people out of college, which makes everything you've said after that make you look like an ass.
