  • No. Their defense is very good, and they have the ability to throw the ball better than they have.

    • Seahawks will lose the West to the Rams. And second in the NFC West is nothing.

        • I find it funny that people are debating about the bottom of the NFC playoff teams. It doesn't matter who gets those last couple of spots. They have no chance of playing in Superbowl. On the other hand, there are 5 teams in the AFC that are capable of reaching the Superbowl.

          • I also think Carolina is going nowhere. Seattle, perhaps they make it, but just barely. They are a shell of the team they were last year.

Don't know about Staubach, but that describes Elway to a tee .
Well, Elway did have a reputation as a choker... until 1996, when he didn't.

Thanks for making my point . The label choker is incredibly fickle and very unfair. Oh wait... Elway was supposed to be choker, but he won it all... oh drat.. well, we can't call him that anymore.

Not necessarily. Teams can improve during the season. It happens all the time. Just about every year.

                    Precisely.

                    • Carolina is coming on strong and will sneak in the playoffs as the last seed. I believe they will win their toughest remaining games vs. ATL and STL.

                      • I think Carolina has too many injuries and not enough returning players in time. They'll just fall short.

                        • Regarding Seattle, yes they are a terrible team. But they are 6-5 when 8-8 will get them into the playoffs.
Scouse Git (2) La Fayette Adam Smith Solomwi and Loinburger will not be forgotten.

Any AFC team capable of reaching the Superbowl can probably win it. Pittsburgh and New England are the teams to beat, and both of them will face really dangerous teams out of the wildcard matchups. Indianapolis, San Diego, Baltimore, and even NYJ are dangerous teams to face. The Jets have to stay healthy to get anywhere in the playoffs. They can't advance without Martin at 100%, and they can't advance without Pennington at 100%. If they make the playoffs, they'll be pitted right away against a spectacularly good QB. (Either Manning or Brees)

You might change you mind after this week though. I think it's a good chance they will lose to NO.

                              • So Marshall Faulk just has a bruised knee. He supposedly is not too old yet. Hmmmm... I don't know, but Steven Jackson is going to tear it up against SF. Last time the Rams played them he broke one of their CBs arm who tried to arm tackle him.
