  • An excellent article by Douglas Murray.

”In the name of pursuing non-existent fascists these activists laid waste to their city, dragged passing motorists from their cars, hospitalised journalists whose reporting was disobliging and otherwise turned the city into a first-world slum.”

    • Civiqs has Biden up by six points in Pennsylvania. I honestly think this whole race is going to come down to Pennsylvania.

      • I guess this means you don't really read fivethirtyeight.
Latest forecast of the 2020 presidential election between President Donald Trump and Joe Biden by Nate Silver’s FiveThirtyEight
“It is no use trying to 'see through' first principles. If you see through everything, then everything is transparent. But a wholly transparent world is an invisible world. To 'see through' all things is the same as not to see.”

        • FiveThirtyEight still has 4% for Trump to win the popular vote and 2% for Trump to win more than 50%. I understand that they have fat tali's, but both are outside of the realm of possibility.

If you just shift things by 3% that means that Biden has a 90% win chance.

Yes - but 538 has PA as the tipping point state.

        • Joe Biden’s business partner says the emails are genuine and he does not believe Joe Biden’s claim that he didn’t know and was not involved his sons pay to play schemes.

This is genuine and it is corruption. Yes, dirty politics is behind releasing this right before the election but that doesn’t factor into the decision on if the corruption is real or not.

And not nearly enough to tip the scales in favor of Trump.

Oh, I agree, it will be too little, too late. I just love showing the left wing conspiracy theorists on various websites that they were wrong. Like virtually all politicians Biden is corrupt no matter how much they want to pretend otherwise.

        • Someone who didn't talk to Joe...

It is just hearsay. It wouldn't be relevant 4 months ago or now.

            • A nice little utility which I found with a lot of up to date information. You can break information down by state and/or county and specify things like early voter turn out to show break downs of party affiliation in early voting (as in who is early voting and what their party affiliation is). Results are updated daily so you get current results almost in real time.

Early and absentee voting data is more important than ever. TargetSmart has created a site to paint a picture of the votes cast thus far. Check back often for updates.

                False

EXCLUSIVE: Text messages obtained by Fox News show the CEO of a Jim and Hunter Biden joint venture with a Chinese energy firm discussing a meeting with Joe Biden in May 2017, despite past claims from the former vice president that he did not talk about his son's business dealings.

                • I hadn't really looked at the Senate races until today. 35/100 seats are up for grabs. Most of them Republican, but in red states.

However, polls have the Democrats heavily favoured to gain two (Arizona and Colorado), while they're leading in three others (Maine, Iowa and North Carolina) and competitive in seven other races (Montana, South Carolina, Kansas, Alaska, Texas and two in Georgia).

Biden could become President and both houses could be dominated by Democrats.

I think Canada could consider reopening our border if that happens.
There's nothing wrong with the dream, my friend, the problem lies with the dreamer.

You didn’t even bother to read it, did you? He said he directly heard Joe and Hunter Biden directly discuss the Chinese deal where the Biden’s would get 10% of $35 million simply for introducing people and voicing support for the agreement. All of which required an official sign off of from the Obama-Biden administration. That sure as hell sounds like trading an official act for bribes to me. Joe Biden has his son work as an intermediary on these corrupt kick backs and then he blatantly lied about the corruption when asked by media.

                    • So a communist Chinese state controlled company (which is how the communists run these things on the down low) needs official approval from the administration for the acquisition to go throw, they give $3.5 million to the Bidens for essentially doing nothing, and then the “deal” goes through. Tell me how this is nothing and not corruption? If the facts are correct it would seem to be a text book example of corruption.

Now, the American political system is, at all levels, riddled with corruption. From local and state level officials demanding that they have the power to veto building projects unless builders give them kickbacks in the form of “campaign donations” or just suitcases filled with case which they hide in their freezers, to Federal level officials who refuse to approve acquisitions by foreign companies or governments unless they personally get paid millions of dollars, it is all just corruption which trades official acts for money.

They all do it but they all deserve to burn in hell for it. **** Joe Biden, **** him right up the ass!

                      • They didn't pay them for nothing. They paid for political influence. The second whistleblower gave the Senate the receipts.

                        • So Joe was talking loudly on speaker phone like Trump did? Seems unlikely. It was one of the more difficult points of the Trump impeachment although I was convinced by the testimony.

And Trump is openly more corrupt than Biden is even accused of being, so I don't know how voting Trump over Biden will help the US corruption issue.

Yes. I'm no fan of neocons.

But note China was less aggressive during neocon administrations. In regards to SE Asia, neocon playbook was working better than Obama (watered down neocon) and much better than Trump's manic policies.

Trump doesn't understand diplomacy. He hung HK out to dry by throwing away all his chips early on for sound bites and his trade war. His public derision of China ensured China would become more aggressive. His trade war hurt the US more than China. His first two years was spent undermining alliances with almost everyone. Now he's trying to catch up, but it's painted us into more of a military situation. If he backs down on the trade war China wins. If he doesn't back down on the trade war China wins, relatively speaking. If it goes hot, everyone loses.

As for corruption, they all are corrupt. It's the fault of both D and R voters who care more about party lines than our country. Also of our voting system which favors a dichotomy. So we get a lesser of two evils clouded by tribalism.
