Trump doesn't understand diplomacy. He hung HK out to dry by throwing away all his chips early on for sound bites and his trade war. His public derision of China ensured China would become more aggressive. His trade war hurt the US more than China. His first two years was spent undermining alliances with almost everyone. Now he's trying to catch up, but it's painted us into more of a military situation. If he backs down on the trade war China wins. If he doesn't back down on the trade war China wins, relatively speaking. If it goes hot, everyone loses.

As for corruption, they all are corrupt. It's the fault of both D and R voters who care more about party lines than our country. Also of our voting system which favors a dichotomy. So we get a lesser of two evils clouded by tribalism.

Trump isn't the perfect guy. He's just a lot better than Biden. You said it yourself, he's the same as pre-Trump, which is the worst foreign policy in the history of the world.

China was never less aggressive. They have always been aggressive totalitarian communists that want to dominate the world, every country. They never moved toward Democracy. We have been delusional thinking that they were going to change. We should have been tough with them from the start. We should have recognized Taiwan from the start and said if you want to fight let's do it.

And no they are not all corrupt. Joe Biden, Hilary etc... are a bunch of straight up criminals

The business partner was a recipient of all the emails. He has confirmed they are real, he heard them discussing them because he was in the room when it happened, and, yes, it was all corrupt. I didn't bother with the debate, but I guessed Trump would go with, "The country is collapsing because of the Democrats, so reelect me to fix it."

The difference is Trump will actually charge the rioters and put them in jail. Biden will not only allow them to continue rioting, to continue committing arson, to continue looting, but he will also run interference so that they are never held accountable for their violent crimes. Trump will put these violent criminals in jail.

And that is all the difference in the world, in my mind. That Dems want to abolish the police and let violent crime soar is just icing on the **** sandwich.
