No, I called you a right winger and a classical liberal. The nutcase who killed a bunch of people in Oslo was also a classical liberal, apparently, so you and him have a few things in common.

I suggest not calling your beliefs "Jeffersonian democracy" if you don't believe in yeoman farmers and such.

Norway's toughest sentence is 21 years in jail.
Seriously? The most this guy will get is 21 years?

            Also, what gives with this?

Breivik hated "cultural marxists," wanted a "crusade" against the spread of Islam and liked guns and weightlifting, web postings, acquaintances and officials said.
Why is weightlifting a scary thing?

Norway are a civilized country where people doesn't kill each other that much, so there are not laws able of handling what has happened.

People that artificially enhances their body are usually considered unintelligent and low on social scales. Weightlifting is typically connected with steroids etc.

Obviously weightlifting makes people commit massacres. In the same way as being 6'2" makes one unattractive to women.

That will only be possible if they can prove that he will do it again after release, so I seriously doubt that it can be used against him.

Edit: prove is wrong - dammit, drunk and tired, should be the "expect to do it again" word

Well since he has political goals, isn't that good proof? I mean those political goals will still need to be achieved when he gets out and he's already made it clear he is willing to use violence for them.

Seriously doubt it. He has no story of claiming he would do such, haven't really said he would do it and probably never said that it's the goal of his life.

                            • So you can only use it when someones admits they are going to break the law again after they are released? That seems ineffective.
