There's still a long way to go this season.

We will defend our title successfully

        • I would like to stress again, Plummer is not the QB to take them deep into the playoffs. anybody watching this game?

of course now I said that, Plummer will run one of his patented 4th quarter comebacks making me look like a dumbass for saying that

          • All those turnovers killed Denver. Each one had a strong drive going and then the momentum was completely killed. The Bengals then turned around and took the momentum back and got 3 FGs.

It's the mistakes the Broncos are making that prevents them from being truly elite. If they could be consistant from week-to-week then they'd easily be among the best.

            • Good news for San Diego who plays Oakland in the upcoming week.

Wouldn't that be something, to lead the AFC West?

              • Even if the Broncos lost and the Chargers won next week Denver would still be in 1st place because Denver is 3-0 in the division while the Chargers would be, what, 1-1? 2-1?

                • Who cares who is leading what. Fact of the matter is San Diego would be tied for first

                  • True, but it's a much closer sniff than they've had for a long time.

Not much media coverage of the Chargers so far.

Actually, no... because of the rules Denver would still be 1st. If both SD and Denver were 10-6 now then Denver wins the division.

                      • I'd have to say the only thing I like seeing more than the Vikings getting owned is the Broncos getting owned.

But it's not Week 17, so that's irrelevant

                          • It's still inaccurate to say that they're tied.

It's only tied, if two teams are identical with regards to...

                            1. Head-to-head (best won-lost-tied percentage in games between the clubs).
                            2. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the division.
                            3. Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games.
                            4. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference.
                            5. Strength of victory.
                            6. Strength of schedule.
                            7. Best combined ranking among conference teams in points scored and points allowed.
                            8. Best combined ranking among all teams in points scored and points allowed.
                            9. Best net points in common games.
                            10. Best net points in all games.
                            11. Best net touchdowns in all games.
In which case its a true tie, and decided by a coin flip.
