Wow, the record is 6 TDs way back in 1981 by Fouts.
Wonder if Brees can do 1 more, eh?

Could I be wrong about the Falcons? I don't like to admit I'm wrong. And I won't do it until the Falcons make it to the NFC championship game. If they do that, then I'll admit I'm wrong
But the possibility exists. Teams like New England can win without superstar wide receivers. Though they didn't today . So perhaps the Falcons can do it. And Plummer had a pretty damn good game, but they still lost to the Falcons. I did not see the game, so I can't really go into why the Broncos lost. I did not expect it.
But as I've said before. Plummer is not the guy to take them deep into the playoffs. I may be wrong there as well. He had some impressive numbers today. But the most important number is a number in the win column. He did not do that. But perhaps the blame lays in the defense.

He threw three interceptions, the third, I believe, for a touchdown when they were down by 4.
ACK!
Don't try to confuse the issue with half-truths and gorilla dust!
I was at the Packers Redskins game. Skins fans have no faith anymore. In the last four minutes, the stands emptied and the remaining fans were almost all wearing green. They erupted into cheering and applause for the Packers' final touchdown.
It was funny because the Packers had four turnovers and they still dominated the Skins. This game sends a message that no matter how much you screw things up, the Redskins will screw things up worse.

It was surreal just how many of the remaining people had cheeseheads.

My neighbor went to the game too, Jag. He was one of those folks in green. Hehe. He and a friend were in cheesehead-hats with Kerry bumper stickers on them.

I might have seen him there. All the Packers fans stayed around shaking hands with each other for a while.
Oh, and a drunk Redskins fan tried to attack my friend. He kept saying "You're from ****ing Maryland!" in an accusatory tone. My friend was actually born in Wisconsin.
It was amusing to watch because my friend is 6'6" and 270 pounds. He plays D Line on his school's Varsity Football team. The guy was fairly small, and so drunk that he probably couldn't even land a punch. Eventually the guy's friends pulled him away because they knew he wouldn't stand a chance.

Good day for games today! Leftwich couldn't do it again, as Houston clamped down. Roethlisburger was great! He was calm, cool, and poised in knocked off New England. Oh, you think other defensive coaches will steal Cowher's defensive playbook?
Mike Vick looked AMAZING today! This was the Vick I was waiting to see this year. Mora stopped trying to solely make him a pocket passer and told him to take off and run whenever he thought it would help, but look pass first. 250 yards passing, 115 yards rushing.... he destroyed Denver's D by himself. He had good touch on his passes (because Peerless Price CANNOT get any seperation from the defensive backs) and ran wild!

I don't think the Chargers regret not getting Vick.
Brees did just fine today.

I think there are 10 other teams that are kicking themselves for not getting Roethlisberger when they had the chance.
