The only differnce is that there are plays where Vick is supposed to run.

Young would take off on his own.

I know, I watched him thorugh college, USFL, and NFL.

Not really. As Tubs said, the only difference is that there are like 5 plays a game where Vick is supposed to run.

          • I mean look at the stats. In Vick's first year as a starter, he ran 112 times. In Young's 8th year (1992), he ran 76 times. Some of the difference is the few called runs, but most of it is that Young's recievers would actually get open!

              • As I've said. If Atlanta makes the NFC championship game, then I'll admit I was wrong .

I still believe efficient passing is the way to win it all.

I believe to truelly be great, a QB has to learn how to pass.

I used to hate Donavan McNabb for the same reason. But he has learned to pass now. And he's developed into a great QB.

                • Man these teams stink!

Glad I don't have to watch the Bears or 49'ers every week.

                  • And going to the playoffs is going to the playoffs, no matter how you slice it . Vick has been there, Brees hasn't.
                    Vick has a D. Brees hasn't.

You mean that D. that KC torched for 56 last week? Their D is overrated too.

You were doing just fine talking about the Atlanta team in years past.

                            Why switch now?

And how long has McNabb been in the league?

                              Vick has a D. Brees hasn't.

You mean the same D that was DEAD LAST in the league last year? Before this week, Atlanta was 24th in the league in Points Allowed. San Diego? 23rd. In yards allowed? Atlanta is 23rd and SD is 26th... not that much of a difference.

That D was sure great last week in KC!

The D has been overrated so far in Atlanta. And the D for San Diego hasn't been that bad at all in the last few years. It's the offense.

                                That was baseball, not football.
