  • against the crappiest team in the NFL. Although the Cardinals are pretty close to that title.
5 TDs is still 5 TDs, no matter how you slice it.
Scouse Git (2) La Fayette Adam Smith Solomwi and Loinburger will not be forgotten.

    • pchang: Well some of those other teams had QBs, like Jacksonville (Leftwich will be a great QB as well), Houston (ditto for Carr), Atlanta (Vick will be great), etc.

against the crappiest team in the NFL.

I'd actually give it to Miami, but Oakland is damned close to rock bottom.

Miami beat the Rams. Let's see Oakland do that.

And going to the playoffs is going to the playoffs, no matter how you slice it . Vick has been there, Brees hasn't.

But Miami lost to the Bills, who got beat by the Raiders. The Rams always have a let down game or two under Martz.

you could argue the rest of the team sucks. But they do have Tomlinson. You could argue they don't have good recievers, yet neither does Atlanta. Maybe it's the defense.

              • I like the cool rock music they are playing during the commercial outros( and prior to the game start) on the sunday night games . This week is a Ministry song (burning inside). I think last week was Marylin Manson.

Back in 2002, Vick drove that team by himself. They had a decent rushing attack, but a lot of that was Vick. Dunn had close to 1000 yards and Duckett at 500, but Vick had over 750 yards rushing himself. He also had almost 3000 yards passing.

The recievers were crap, the offensive line was crap, and the defense was simply above average.

Vick also went to Lambaugh was beat the Pack on their own turf. This was one case of one person being the team.

                  • Vick just doesn't excite me as a QB.

                        • I've never been much of a fan of running QB's. Show me one who's won a superbowl

actually there probably has been one or a few, I just can't think of any right now.

                          Brady: No
                          Johnson: hell no
                          Brady: No again
                          Dilfer: mm no
                          Warner: no
                          Elway: no
                          Aikman: no
                          Young: no

okay my memory is starting to fade a bit here. but you get the picture

I love seeing his acrobatic plays. But can those plays win him a superbowl. That is the most important aspect to consider.

                            • Um, Young was a running QB. He is what Vick could be.

                              • How are ELWAY and YOUNG not running QBs? Don't give me those they passed first... Vick has much more attempts than rushing plays. Young ran just as much as Vick does now when he started with the Niners.

Montana also ran a lot during the 80s. I think he still holds the record for rushing yards for a QB in the Superbowl (like 55 yards or something).
