  • Are You Ready for Some Football - Week 11

The other one was in the 400's, so time for a new thread.
*the old thread can be found here:

Some good match ups this week.

The Bears need a victory or the season is truely over, and so does Washington. Both teams have their fair share of problems. But at least the Bears are actually favored by a point:

    NFL week 6
    Sunday, Oct. 17th
    BUFFALO 5½ Miami 30½
    N.Y. JETS 10 San Francisco 42½
    NEW ENGLAND 4 Seattle 42
    PHILADELPHIA 9 Carolina 41½
    CLEVELAND 3 Cincinnati 41
    DETROIT 2 Green Bay 44½
    CHICAGO 1 Washington 33
    TENNESSEE 6½ Houston 46
    ATLANTA 4½ San Diego 42
    Kansas City 2½ JACKSONVILLE 44
    DALLAS 3 Pittsburgh 38½
    Denver 1½ OAKLAND 42
    Minnesota 3½ NEW ORLEANS 52
    Monday, Oct. 18th
ST. LOUIS 6 Tampa Bay 42½

The New England/Seattle game should be a good one...
Green Bay needs to beat Detroit, or it could be a long season for them...
Minny needs to prove they can win on the road...
Is Phily really 9 points better than Carolina...
Dallas gets to defend their home turf against an improving Steeler team...
And can Tampa Bay win two in a row in the Monday Nite matchup against high scoring St. Louis...

    ARE YOU
    READY FOR SOME
    FOOTBALL
    Keep on Civin'

Not a chance. The Rams should be favored by much more. This should be the first game that the Rams stop the run. TB has nothing of a running game to speak off. The Rams will win this one by at least 20 points.

On the left is the favored team, on the right, the underdog.

The number at the the end is the over/under......how many points scored in the game.

        ACK!

Your Bears are looking pretty pathetic, Ming.

              Yaay Packers

              Finally, something goes right

Now, it's about that time of year for the inevitable Vikings collapse.

                the Bears suck...

they have the worst QB situation in the league... Johnathon Quinn blows!
To us, it is the BEAST.

                  Go Redskins! Sorry Mingy.

                  Damn Packers...

What about the number in the middle?

                    CHICAGO 1 Washington 33

This means that Chicago is favored by one point over Washington. Chicago is home because they're in caps. The 33 is the over/under spread.

I just think what a difference it might have made with Grossman in the game... Quinn did indeed suck.

The number in the middle is the point spread. The number at the end is how many points are predicted to be scored.

Da bears had as many 3-and-outs as they had points.

I know... there were many times the receivers were WIDE open, and Quinn couldn't hit them... it was sad. And even with that moron in there, they were still in the game. What a difference Grossman could have made... sigh...

I have to say that Jones looked spectacularly good.
