Come on. We're talking about Jerry Rice. If he's not done you make the offense click around him. He's done.

you have a winkie, so I take it you don't believe that.

I learned my lesson. I was saying the same thing about Emmitt Smith last year.

We shall see... while he has lost a step, he makes up for it with work ethic and experience. I think he will be a welcome addition to the Seattle receiving corp... No, he won't be a god, but he will fit in better than he has in Oakland this year.
        Keep on Civin'

Anybody watch Inside the NFL on HBO? It's one of my favourite sports programs (along with NFL primetime).

Hilarious stuff. Dan Marino said something about no one wanting to live in Buffalo and they got all these angry emails to HBO and the show. They were really razzin' Dan Marino for this. Bob Costas said HBO didn't get this much hate mail since Adrianna got whacked on the Sopranos.

I like Dan Marino, and I like this lineup they have hosting the show. Bob Costas is a legendary sports reporter. Along with former wide reciever Chris Colinsworth who is an excellent speaker. Chris Carter isn't bad either.

            Costas is a hack .

The old Inside the NFL with Len Dawson and Nick Buanicotti was much better.

Costas is a god among men, Imran. Bow before his purity of anti-wildcard and anti-designated hitterness.

Well I like those things... but he's a horrid announcer. I'm glad he doesn't do the World Series anymore. His predilection for human interest stories drives me insane!

You can't when he's announcing the game.

Just got this old joke from my Bears-loving brother, thought I'd post it for Ming:

A little bear is at his custody hearing. The judge
asks the little Bear whom he wants to live with. Well,
I don't want to live with mamma Bear, she beats me.
And I do not want to live with papa Bear, he beats me
too. The judge asks little Bear if he has any
relatives whom he likes. Little Bear says no...
I want to live with Chicago Bears, they don't beat
                        anybody.

                        ACK!
Don't try to confuse the issue with half-truths and gorilla dust!

Don't blame Costas for the human interest stories. The networks are to blame for that.

No they aren't. He relishes them. He doesn't have to do them and when anyone else announced games on NBC, they DIDN'T do those stories. He always wants to do the human interest.

F'ing Falcons! Vick runs like 50 yards (on two plays) down to the one. And then on 2nd and Goal and 3rd and Goal, the playcall was horrendus not a SINGLE run up the middle! What the hell?!
