Are you saying you wouldn't want the modern new wall all along the border? All I'm saying is that Trump probably would. Don't you think so?
I certainly did not say it would be good or bad - just that the odds are good that Trump would want that.
How the hell does that smear anyone? What the hell is conspiratorial about it?

That's not a conspiracy theory. It's hardly a "smear" either given how Trump has behaved for his entire life.

BS. Trump delivers the goods on most of his projects. That's how he became successful. He has delivered the goods as president, keeping promises.

I'm no fan boy either. I have issues with him. But he has done everything to deliver the goods.

... like he delivered on the wall! No need for more funding ... Trump delivered on his promise to pay for it! Yay!

He became successful by telling people what they want to hear ... that bis how he cheated the students of Trump university out of their money and that is also how he still got money from investors despite of his numerous bankruptcies.
It also helped him survive that he was quite successful in creating scapegoats when he was sued, or by offering enough money in arrangements out of court.

He tells people what they want to hear, but then he delivers the goods. It's in his book. And he walks the walk.

Well, in case of Trump University that obviously wasn't the case ... he made lots of promises in order to get students, but failed to deliver on every of them.
Also made it appear as if it was an accredited college, where in truth it wasn't

          • Cohen got his freedom back
“Today,†he told Judge William H. Pauley III in a deep, steady voice, “is the day I am getting my freedom back.â€

“I have been living,†Cohen continued, “in a personal and mental incarceration ever since the day that I accepted the offer to work for a real-estate mogul whose business acumen I admired.â€

In beseeching the court for a measure of mercy, Cohen sought to unburden himself from what he called a “blind loyalty†that led him down “a path of darkness.†“I felt it was my duty to cover up for his dirty deeds,†he told the court.
In federal court on Wednesday, Donald Trump’s former lawyer and fixer sought to break free of the president as a judge sentenced him to prison.

And that's only one project, but a big mistake. It really wasn't his project though. It was his investment though, and they used his name. He didn't have much to do with it.

                • A robot on show at a Russian state-sponsored event has turned out to be a man dressed in a costume.

Robot Boris featured on Russian TV and was apparently able to walk, talk and dance.

But soon after its appearance journalists began to question the bot's authenticity.

In a picture published afterwards on social media, the neck of a person was clearly visible.

The robot is in fact a 250,000 rouble (£2,975) costume called Alyosha the Robot, made by a company called Show Robots.

While the organisers of the Proyektoria technology forum - which was aimed at youngsters - had not claimed the robot was real, the TV coverage on Russia-24 suggested it was.

                  (...)

What is the world coming to when you can't trust neither robots nor TV?!?

                      He is
but he freed himself from some very bad influence that got him into doing criminal things ...
and after serving his 3 years prison term he may have a chance at becoming a productive and righteous member of society again

Of course media are not telling people this, because this would be fake news.
A small part of the origin of the protests actually has to do with climate change ... people perceive that big corporations (who are seen as the main culprit for climate change) pay significantly less than the working class for it .... but the majority of the reasons for the yellow vest protests are that people believe that the rising fuel taxes are abused in order to finance tax cuts for the corporations.

                      • Nate Silver: Ocasio-Cortez's race and gender drive 'certain Republicans crazy'

FiveThirtyEight founder and election forecaster Nate Silver on Tuesday claimed that many members of the GOP have disdain for Rep.-elect Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) because of "her race and gender."

Ocasio-Cortez, a 29-year-old Hispanic woman, has drawn immense scrutiny and criticism from leading GOP figures and pundits since her campaign to unseat incumbent Rep. Joseph Crowley (D) in a New York primary.

"There are lots of reasons Ocasio-Cortez drives certain Republicans crazy, foremost among them her race and gender," Silver tweeted.

"But it's also that she's quintessentially a New Yorker and DC political culture is formal and prudish when NYC mostly isn't those things," he added.

                        — Nate Silver (@NateSilver538) December 12, 2018
Silver was responding to a tweet from CNN political analyst Joshua Green, who claimed Ocasio-Cortez was the "big preoccupation" at multiple GOP gatherings this week.

"Put differently, New Yorkers are very good at trolling, and Washington has extreme troll-vulnerability," Silver wrote, following up on his original tweet. "It's always made for a mismatch but more pronounced now that we're in the Golden Age of Trolling. We may need to move the capital back to Philly to keep it a fair fight."

Ocasio-Cortez has crafted a robust social media presence, frequently hitting back at those who have criticized her, including conservative journalists, Fox News hosts, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin (R) and more.

Her supporters have praised her online "trolling" skills, while detractors have criticized her as unprofessional. Some on the right have compared her to President Trump, another New Yorker who has also gone after his critics online.

Ocasio-Cortez last month slammed Republicans for "drooling" over footage of her and accused them of waiting to criticize her over any missteps.

The hypocrisy of this while supporting someone like Trump is just astounding.

It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple
