What the actual **** are you talking about you crazy mental bastard!? So you living on a farm means you're more likely to use the common expression 'locking the door after the horse has bolted' more accurately than other people?
Oh please never change Ben.

That just makes his failure to use that metaphor correctly even more sad
Kicking them out is like catching the horse after the horse has bolted... lol
Building a wall when we already have 11 million illegals is like locking the barn door after 11 million horses have already bolted

Because fusion reactors will most likely be too large to fit them into cars (and surely also too expensive) ... and therefore you will need a battery driven car that uses the electric energy genberated by fusion reactors
Hyhrids may be heavier, but the power they use most likely will be cheaper nevertheless
Not to forget that AFAIK also the US subsidizes Hybrids (as well as full EVs) and therefore for the individual owner there may be good financial reasons to get an EV or hybrid (especially if is is used predominately for short distances, like many cars in the US)
When Bertha Benz in 1888 made the worlds first long distance drive with the new invention of her husband, the "automobil" she didn't even have any "petrol stations". Instead she had to buy cleaning petrol from pharmacies in order to refill the tank of the car.
If demand for electric charging station increases (due to more people buying EVs or Hybrids), other people will surely begin to open charging stations on their own initative (and/or buy into already existing franchises for charging stations). You might want to read the fine print on that:
in which it averaged a speed of 25 mph (40 km/h)Scouse Git (2) La Fayette Adam Smith Solomwi and Loinburger will not be forgotten.

I bet a tractor could have passed it.
The Roadster's 0 to 60 mph (0 to 97 km/h) acceleration time is 3.9 seconds for the Standard Model and 3.7 seconds for the 2010 V2.5 Sport Model. MotorTrend, which performed the first independent instrumented testing of the Roadster Sport, confirmed the company's reported 0 to 60 mph (0 to 97 km/h) time of 3.7 seconds. MotorTrend recorded 0 to 60 mph (0 to 97 km/h) of 3.70 seconds; it recorded a 1⁄4-mile (0.40 km) test at 12.6 sec giving 102.6 mph (165.1 km/h).[124] The top speed is electronically limited to 125 mph (201 km/h). The Roadster covers the 1⁄4-mile (0.40 km) dragstrip in 12.757 seconds at 104.74 mph (168.56 km/h).[125] It weighs 2,877 lb (1,305 kg) and is rear wheel drive; most of the car's weight is centered in front of the rear axle. Its body style results in a drag coefficient of Cd=0.35–0.36.[126] It has a rolling resistance of Crr=0.011.[41]
You must have a special tractor to beat this one.
Nowhere did I see anything that said it could only average 25 MPH.
Please provide your source on that one.Keep on Civin'

Also, charge times are 5,6 hours. Ain't nobody got time for dat.
That's, also not mentioning the life and replacement time of the battery (which is 40k all by itself), and the price?
109k. American.
Don't make me laugh. Who's willing to pay 109k for a car that's vastly inferior to a dinky used Honda?Scouse Git (2) La Fayette Adam Smith Solomwi and Loinburger will not be forgotten.
