    • The Veep debate had a negative impact on Trump. He is falling further. Republican leaning Quinnipiac has Hillary ahead 5% (4 way) and 6% (2 way).

And here is why Trump may already be too late. There is little field work going on. The Clinton campaign is working hard in Ohio and Florida to get people to vote early.

He may have already ****ed it up.

Record number of Latinos are asking to vote early too.

Hillary in other words may be in an even stronger position than suggested. I think she will win most of the swing states, including Ohio. Iowa may be out of reach though. She could possibly have a chance in Texas.

"Make America Great Again" is neither a plan nor a promise. It's an empty slogan that invites the disaffected to remember a better life, and to believe that when Donald Trump says "trust me," he will magically make that nebulous nirvana happen. Somehow, vast acres of American idiots swallow his "you know what I mean" subtext as a substitute for actual policies and plans.

It's more than a little scary.

As for Hillary, I regard her as the devil I know. At least she has policies and positions. I know, for instance, that she will help usher me into my dotage with social security and Medicare firmly in place. In terms of enlightened self-interest, favoring a Clinton presidency is a no-brainer for me.
I wouldn't trust Trump with a nickel. He would lose it. Such a **** businessman.

Oh and as far as a terror attack... Hillary now has a majority backing her in that issue.

Trump is such a screw up he even lost the advantage in an issue he had a lock on.

            Cool story!

            So does your klepocratic government.

Facts burn. And if you want the world to explode into nuclear war, support Trump then.

            • Actually that's part of Trump's appeal. There are so many Clinton supporters that are "KNOW IT ALLS" saying your just an idiot for even considering Trump or an independent because Hillary is the only one that can save the country. That arrogance turns people off. Regardless if it's true, people just want to bash them over the head and vote for trump just to show them. Now granted there are quite a few similar trump supporters but if you don't like Hillary hearing people tell you that you MUST vote for her is quite a turnoff.
It's almost as if all his overconfident, absolutist assertions were spoonfed to him by a trusted website or subreddit. Sheeple

There are even more Trump supporters who come off as know it alls and they have this empty briefcase logic against Hillary.

I am not telling people to vote in any way. I am not saying anyone will save this country. Obama with his rising approval ratings at 55% now, has done a good job and it doesn't need saving. This country just needs continuance and a steady hand.

I'm just saying what the polls say and what early voter registration says. Hillary is close to surpassing 50% and Trump is hurting more from Gary Johnson.

Taking an empty swing at me without reading my posts is exactly why I post here less. If you won't read my posts, not my problem.

                • And who said anything about anyone being an idiot?

                  Whoosh.

                  Swing and miss!

Trump is unstable and delusional. And his tanking poll numbers suggest that people have seen enough.

Maybe you should be reading my posts. And I even said there were also similar Trump supporters.

I fail to see how Hillary supporters are acting that way. Perhaps it has happened very sporadically, but I think most Hillary supporters are trying to get turnout boosted. Many are working in the massive grassroots ground level organization set up.

People seriously underestimate the structure the campaign has on the ground.

In other words, Hillary supporters seem more concerned about getting people out to vote.

                      • Aaaaanyway, checking out Hillary's FB feed. She has improved somewhat; the posts are no longer entirely, without exception, about Trump. She's down to only one in four or so being about deplorableness. About a third of the posts, however, seem to be en espanol. I sense a strategy here . . .

                        • Yeah appealing to a group of voters (Latinos) who are already turning out in big numbers for early voting in swing states seems to be key.

I think she can get Texas to flip.

There was a poll that 76-82% of Latinos could vote for Hillary. A record number. A greater percentage than Obama or Bill.

                          • Texas will not flip for Hillary. Not this year.

                            Patience.

                            • If Trump loses (probable, though not guaranteed), it will be largely because his phenomenal ****tiness as a candidate overwhelmed his opponent's merely remarkable ****tiness as a candidate, and should not be taken as a sign of long-term prospects for either party.

She will probably get as close as her husband did in 1996. But there is a chance it could happen.

                                But yea...

I am at a loss for words. This is going to haunt him for the next month. Women are the majority in this country. Even married women, who lean Republican, don't like Trump. This is why I even think Hillary may have a bigger chance in Texas then we think. This is basically Trumps own rape comment. Think Clayton versus Ann Richards.

Elok, stop trying to claim there are no long term prospects for democrats. The huge surge in registration of minorities, including Latinos for democrats displays a bright future. I also see Julian Castro, Kamala Harris and others possibly having a go in the future. Hillary clearly isn't as bad as you claim and has a huge team working on the ground already. Over prepared I guess lmao.
