Last I checked the first amendment protects Catholic religious exercise. Or are you saying that the 1st Amendment no longer exists? Tell it to the children that aren't being placed! Are they going to think that you care about them or that you care about yourself first and foremost.



You're stuck in the 40s and the 50s. If you look at the actual data - most countries are in long term decline, they are not replacing themselves. Some, like Germany and most of eastern Europe, save Slovakia, are declining even when taking immigration into account.

A smart businessman sees when there are forces beyond his control and adjusts accordingly. Smart businessmen realize that with your core declining that you need to make up for it somewhere else. Nominal natural growth, but negative long term due to having a TFR < 2, but a birth rate > death rate. And finally, Negative natural growth where the death rate > birth rate, and the immigration rate doesn't make up the difference.

Nobody is stopping Catholics from religious exercise... But that doesn't mean you don't have to follow the law and not discriminate.
Time after time you keep claiming the the First Amendment gives you the right to discriminate and time after the time the Courts disagree with you.

Doesn't really matter. Immigration is here to stay.

And it's just a matter of standard of living.

You live in a relatively wealthy country, you study you do lots of things then maybe have children.

You live in a poor country, you hit 18 or so, there's nothing else to do than have children.

And gays can have children too due to technology.

If you're pre-occupied about "whiteness" I think someone here posted that it's 52% in the US and like 80% in the UK.

So it's not like immigration is "threatening" it no matter how silly that sounds.

You need to read Hebrews then. We have a disagreement on what constitutes 'loving your neighbor.' As for the USCCB - where they disagree with the catechism, I'm not going to support the USCCB. Where the Canadians defy the catechism, I'm also not going along with them.

I'm answerable to God. I can't go in the end and say, "but the USCCB said it was ok".

Right. If you took the time to understand my post - you'd understand that the top line 'growth' rates for Europe are not what they seem. Also, counting immigration in a rant against population is silly. There's a difference between moving people from one bin to another and new people altogether.

I have a controversial opinion that Immigration is not here to stay, and that this present immigration regime is temporary. The longterm numbers bear me out. Why don't we see significant immigration from Britain these days? Because there isn't a surplus of people who need jobs and a place to live. These people built up the United States and Canada. Nowadays you won't see that happen - because Britain herself has a hard time sustaining Britain alone.

My controversial opinion - why would we expect this to be different for people from elsewhere in the world as their economies improve?
