      Will keep you posted!

I think I'm totally OK with the situation... my daughter had some weird things going on with her eyes, like her eye lids would go down involuntary, not completely but half way.... I figured she was tired but after she slept, it continued and her eyes would roll a bit as well. Scary as hell. My wife took her to a doctor immediately. As you'd guess, we're really scared about brain tumors ATM. Even when it's highly unlikely.

It's just something you don't want, but something you REALLY don't want your kids to have. Absolutely horrible. I think it might be epilepsy, I've read that for children they might have few small seizures like that and it is normal, and even if they truly have epilepsy, depending on what kind of epilepsy it is, there's good chance everything turns out well in the long run.

Anyway, just a bit of a scare... when it turns out OK, I have no fear what so ever about my own situation. You're afraid about your kids' future when you're not able to be there most likely but just know they'll be OK in terms of health is all I want, after that, it's not so bad...

I'm home with my little boy and making food for him, and he drops from the chair face first... I see the whole thing and with horror I lift him to see the damage, split lip and little blood from the nose. Quickly I take ice bag and put it on his nose and to my relief notice it's nothing too bad. But considering the situation and they day we're having, and the boy is bleeding and crying, I'm just like ... let the day be over, please. And let us all survive it!

My boy is already OK and playing so that was a scare... you just hate the sound of kids when they go face first to the floor - I'm sure every parent knows exactly what I'm talking about. My daughter had to switch place since the ER was so packed there was no chance of getting in any time soon (next 3 hours). Fortunately we have good private insurance so we can go anywhere we want. What can I say? Even when you've got fairly working medicare system, insurance sure helps.

edit: the best idea of today is to go sleep early.

          Maybe ptosis. Nothing serious.

Yeah, seems nothing serious anyway. She has an appointment to see a neuorologists just in case but even then it's not likely to be anything serious. Phew!!!!!

You know it's 1 against a million or something, but when you're 1 against million as well, you get paranoid easily.

The kids seem OK. That's all that matters. I'll be OK, too.

I'm going to buy myself few new videogames to pass the time on recovery, so clearly I'm sending a message to my brain to be alive since I've got all these games too.

Update: Unfortunately I'm not operated yet, I got there today early afternoon but was released for tonight since the operation is tomororw morning. The said they see no reason to keep me there. That's good! The ran some tests on me and they all came back good. I'm in excellent health other than... well being dead if not operated soon. Other than that? Excellent health. They were little confused checking my blood pressure being so low even though I was there and fairly nervous. What can I say? I'm in it to win it!

So anyway, they surgeon said I'll probably have my left side paralysed for some time. In worst case, maybe weeks. Well in very worst case permanently but likely not permanently. What a ride, huh?

So anyway, I've been thinking... I think I'll escape death once more. I'll come back stronger than ever. I'm not THAT afraid anymore. I miss my kids (they're at grandmas for the time being)... but surely I'll beat this.

Just wanted to come back and say once more thakn you all for supporting me throughout everything... I've been here since 2002, so that's like... 11 years now (what the hell?). I was here when I got to University, got through it, got almost my PhD (maybe some day still!), established two companies, got three different jobs, all of them good jobs, got married, moved ... what... 6 (!!!) times, built a house, it's 2-3 weeks of 100 % so then it'll be my 7th reloation (final), had 2 wonderful kids who I love more than anything in this existence.... so all this happened and most of it was shared in here one way or another. I also got ill while here (end of 2009), still kicking and battling again. Going for another round with the beast... so 11 year. I got to make an even 20 before cashing out from here. I am determined.

Just wanted to let you know you've been a big part of my life, you've endured my rants and everything and been only nice to me the whole time. It's almost unbelievable.

That said, you are all part of me, as everything I come into touch affects my life some way. This is what I strongly believe in. Even the people I don't like (not you guys!) contribute in the good times I have in the future. So I have to appreciate it all. Maybe one ******* less and I would have not met my wife and have my kids. Who knows, right? So, thank you for being part of my life and keeping being part of my life. You all mean a lot to me, and you probably feel that I really do mean what I'm saying and it needed to be said. Right now. Not before, not after, but right now. Sometimes you just know when the time is to do or to say.

Thank you, and all my best wishes and love, So long and thanks for the fish, catch you all on the flipside (I'll let you know if there are nazis on the backside of the moon!)
