I don't recall anyone asking the rich to take all their money and set fire to it. You keep talking about 'proper stewardship' as if it means anything in this context. The rich are not stewarding the money for others benefit, they are collecting money purely for their own benefit. In the case of the extremely rich it's called greed, and the bible has some rather pointed things to say about it.

They are earning money through their own efforts. Stewardship involves taking care of the things that they have and putting it to productive use. Matthew 25 calls for christians to exercise proper stewardship of money.

Only in the mindset of a pathetic, cowardly man is the idea of all people contributing towards the good of all 'theft'.

Sure, if they are volunteering their time. That's one thing. However, you're talking about shaking down other people to pay for the stuff that you don't want to pay yourself. One is Charity, the other is Theft. Guess which one you support. Charity comes from the heart - it doesn't require coercion to enforce. People will actually step forward and help - because they WANT to help.

Absolutely, I'd try to preserve the million or so lives every year that are lost through abortion. It's close to 50 million now since Roe was undertaken have died through abortion.
