The next episode has, perhaps, the most ominous title in the show's history:

      What Kate Does

      Jesus, I hate that character.

Actually, I hope the Marshal catches up with her and puts a double tap in the back of her skull.

Although, that would be more of What The Marshal Does, so I'm probably **** outta luck.

I'm watching season 2 and I've seen at least two screwups. I saw a boat in the background when they were on the raft; and I saw the horse trainer's hand in the "What Kate Did" episode. I don't think I've ever seen such blatant mistakes in a "modern" high budget show before.

Dude, there's a car in the background in a scene in the Shire in the LOTR movies. Screw ups happen, no big deal.

Yup. I think it was in the Shire, but I could be wrong. Can't be arsed to look it up.

I think there was also one in the Two Towers when Gandalf summons Shadowfax.
                    John Brown did nothing wrong.

                        • These ones are so obvious though. You'd think they could fix it with CGI or something.

                          • Wait, you mean those ones in Lost are so obvious?

There isn't a lot of budget for CGI in TV. There are a handful of very obvious CGI effects of dubious quality in the final few seasons of Lost.

The sunken Island scene from the premiere was of particularly dubious quality.

                              • The quality is pretty lousy, but it's still good for a TV show. Lost production values are way above what we grew up with.
