I've got graphic examples today about the difference your gravel makes...

First, the highest tide we've had in a while washes lightly against your steps. Further up you still have a small stretch of gravel between sea and wall.

Back to the business at hand. Almost exactly at the apex of your new room resides this tree. Sho marks 4.5 meters.



Close nuf that a reverse half circle at the apex would give a bit of space for the tree without taking much from the room and look pretty cool...if that's what you want. You proposed a hole on the roof if its in the room, like my place. This is half a hole and its outside, much better.

I was pondering: enlarge the semicircle; reduce the semicircle; flatten the end of the semicircle, but your idea leaves all mine in the dust! Great idea! We'll do it!

That's a HUGE drop in price. Didn't it used to be in the 500,000-600,000 range? Have Theresa or someone see if it's still for sale. I have no idea what I'd use it for, but I'm sure we can find something. (I should probably check my bank account too.)

When I first talked to the lady it was P300,000. Then the guy said P400,000. Now the rumor is 200,000 but we would have to look into it more. Its only got one tree...

One of the Garcia guys mentioned another property for sale on the reverse side of the BBall court also.

We'll find out about the little house but why not wait until you are here and can see your choices? Your call...

I figure the lack of trees is no problem -- you're good at growning them, right?

BTW: I'm not quite as rich as I thought I was. At my credit union, I have a checking account, a savings account, and a "primary" account. Depending how I ask the computer for my savings account balance, sometimes it includes the primary account in the saving account balance. So I was counting that money twice.

Oh yeah. Last week I went to the consulate. It looks from the big board that the longest visa I can get is one year. I tried to ask the lady, but when she found out I wasn't married to a Filapina, she just gave me some forms to fill out. I'll fill them out sometime this week, and see if I can't get better answers when I take them back.

Aeson has figured a way, a K- something visa that you can get at the consulate much cheaper than you can get here. Like the permanant resident status in the US. He doesn't have one yet but he knows about it and looks in here once in a while. I'll ask him to post something about it.
