I'm not surprised. The lady behind the window at the consulate looked as if she were going to be helpful until I answered that I wasn't married to a Filipina. I knew by the look on her face that that was the wrooong answer.

They started the base for the facing. At my place this is the little walkway at the base of the wall. I'm not sure exactly its function but Sho was insistant on my place so I didn't raise the question on yours. No need for civil unrest and I really like how solid my wall is sooo...

Might function as an erosion blocker.

With the voltage difference between the U.S. and the Phils, does it make sense to ship over my small appliances: DVD player, X-Box, toaster, table lamps, etc.?

Rigo got his shot and it was a little over $2 plus about a buck for the doc. Doc told him to come back twice more, don't know why. He's got a big red spot on his heel about 1/4 inch around. Must have picked a good one to step on. Inevitable on a job site but it reminds me to give Sho a safety briefing. Have everyone spend 15 minutes cleaning up such stuff and pulling nails a couple times a week...

Anything you ship you need a transformer to use. That said, spendy items like dvd or x box that might be in the same location, running off the same transformer, sure I'd send them and have. Also, lots of stuff is lousy quality here. My toaster is a piece of well never mind. So, you decide.
