So at this point...what to do? We just get those metal bars into the 2nd and 4th posts before they harden up any more and thats it until you get here, right? Sho read your instructions and mentioned starting on the circumference wall...

Next time you're at the property, take a look and make sure that a 4 1/2 meter (14 3/4 feet) extension towards the street doesn's cause any problems. I doubt it will.
I don't think a curved wall will present any insurmountable problems. I remember once you musing on building a circular house and saying that it'd be no big deal.

Oh btw...
We have the permit!!!
Sho will paint the # on a board and stick it onto a tree.
Ok, Sho has his instructions. He'll build a 5 story semi-circular lighthouse.
Regarding tieing it into the existing posts he said "No problem about that."
Isn't it fun building from a distance? One learns the limitations of communication. Welcome to my world...Long time member @ Apolyton

I just finished an update sketch of the floorplan. As you can see, Post #3 is rather pesky.
I send you a copy of this by U.S. Mail tomorrow and by LBC courier next Tuesday.
Note: I've placed a water cistern on the garden roof, directly over a wall and next to a post for support. The cistern won't be more than a meter high, maybe not even that if you guys have hand pumps with which we can pump water up and into a waiting watering can.

I'll talk to Tito. I believe that if we imbed a steel I beam into the tie beam connecting #2 and #4 it should be np, but Tito will know best. I feel certain that our posts are up to the job.
I'd kind of like to make that I beam so strong that we can build a small post off it up to the garden floor. Imo the large posts can all be reduced after carrying the first floor load. Still strong, but not what we have now. Then they could be further reduced to carry the flying roof. Let me know if that's what you want.
The water cistern is a good idea but if your main house water tank is higher than your roof you will have all the gravity fed water you'll ever need for your garden.Long time member @ Apolyton

How about using your fountain as your cistern? That way you never have to fill it, and your water tank doesn't have to be as high as the garden. What I mean is that you already will have an in ground cement tank in which the pump which pumps up to your water tank resides. Your main house water tank will have a float switch which automaticly sends instructions to the in ground tank to send up some water, and thanks! You could do the same thing with the fountain. Somehow conseal a float switch in the fountain to a pump in the very same in ground tank. If you do this you'll have 2 pumps there, one water tank, one fountain. Every time you take a container of water out of the fountain to give a drink to the thirsty orchids...waalaa! Fills back up.
Dolores went with Theresa to take some pics while Theresa pays the workers so pics coming.Long time member @ Apolyton
