He chaired the Senate's sub-committee on European Affairs.

WTF does Euro affairs have to do with the military?

All of these committees deal with issues important to the military. In his capacity on these committees, he has taken official trips to pretty much every corner of the globe.

Great, Obama is a man of the world, and has travelled around the globe. So does a stewardess.

And that doesn't include the bills Obama's sponsored that address issues related to the military and veterans affairs, or Joe Biden's decades of sitting on the Foreign Relations committee.

Despite the fact that the bills gutted the military, that counts as military experience?

Sarah Palin's sole connection to the military is that her son will soon be deployed to Iraq in an infantry brigade.

Umm, she served in the national guard.

Two years ago she entered "real" politics as the governor of the cluster**** known as Alaska thanks to a swarm of corruption that tainted the incumbents.

Bill O'Reilly has at least the decency to put on people with different viewpoints so he could argue with them. Olberman only has his best friends Rachel Maddow and Richard Wolffe all the time while they talk crap about Republicans.

In that regard, O'Reilly is better. he at least puts on opposing viewpoints.
