The AI was incredibly bad, it would crash often (especially in multiplayer), and there were even mistakes in the rules implementation that they never corrected.
Sometimes aircraft landed on carriers would just disappear on the following turn, making the game practically unplayable.Comment

Civ 3.
Played it once. Realised 3 hours in that we had played around 20 turns.
Went back to Civ2 scenarios.Scouse Git (2) La Fayette Adam Smith Solomwi and Loinburger will not be forgotten.

CTP 1 did suck and CTP 2 had a terrible AI but if you were smart enough to only play MP against other humans then CTP2 was a great game. I spent endless hours online playing CTP 2; much more time then I spent playing Civ 2.Originally posted by Krill
