Syberia 2I will never understand why some people on Apolyton find you so clever. You're predictable, mundane, and a google-whore and the most observant of us all know this. Your battles of "wits" rely on obscurity and whenever you fail to find something sufficiently obscure, like this, you just act like a 5 year old. Congratulations, molly.

You guys should have known from the screenshots that it was going to be crap, I never got excited about it for that very reason.
SEV suffered the same fate"The DPRK is still in a state of war with the U.S. It's called a black out." - Che explaining why orbital nightime pictures of NK show few lights. Seriously.

The only game purchase I have ever unequivocally regretted was Civilization: Call to Power.Lime roots and treachery!

CTP's only bright spot was the way the did religion and commercial influence. Besides that, yeah pretty bad.
EDIT: And slavery as well. The simply fact that they didn't shy away from including it was great, not to mention it was implemented pretty well."The DPRK is still in a state of war with the U.S. It's called a black out." - Che explaining why orbital nightime pictures of NK show few lights. I bought a lot of ****ty games, so I don't even bother to decide which is worst. In terms of the Hype to Delivery Ratio probably Oblivion is first, and World of Warcraft close second. Neverwinter Nights 2 gets a honorary mention.

age of empires 2
CTP
Both because I wanted them to be great, I wasn't aware of the history of Civ when I bought CTP.Space is big. You just won't believe how vastly, hugely, mind- bogglingly big it is. I mean, you may think it's a long way down the road to the chemist's, but that's just peanuts to space.

Moo3.
It's the winner, because God knows how much I tried to find interest in the game. I really spent time trying to like it.
Other good candidates are:
- Galactic Imperium 2 (not sure of the name).
- Eye of the beholder. That's an old one. There was a bug that got you stuck in a dungeon at level 3, with no way out. No internet, no patches at the time.
- Age of Empire (the whole serie). I bought the box, played 1 hour and got bored amazingly quick.
- Elite 2 (or was it 3?). Sequel of the legendary Elite. I installed it, tried to play and got lost in the interface.
- Some Icewindale (sp?) extension. Icewindale wasn't that great in the first place, but the extension was terrible.
...
There are certainly others, but they don't come to my mind now.
EDIT: The game with the bug at level 3 might be Legend Lore, not Eye of the Beholder. These games are so old, I do not remember which is which.Last edited by Dry; March 18, 2008, 09:31.The books that the world calls immoral are the books that show the world its own shame. Oscar Wilde.

Outpost.
I never bought MOO3, thankfully. A friend did, so I had a chance to "play" it. Bad.
CivIII had faults, but it fell victim to expectations more than anything else. It's a long way from bad. How anyone could go back to playing CivII is beyond me. I loved CivII, but it had a number of features that were totally broken, and the AI...For its time, it was very good. For its time, CivIII was mediocre. Thankfully, CIV is excellent.
