    I almost forgot: Battlecruiser 3000

    It was a wonderful concept: You could command the battlecruiser, or a starfighter wing, or commandoes.

    But the game couldn't run for more than a few seconds without crashing. Didn't they test that piece of...er...work?

      Wow you are trolling me on another thread, but you post this gem. Thanks for the link. I used to play the Axis & Allies boardgame every week with my friends and we even made our own new versions with new plastic parts and handmade boards.
      Here is an interesting scenario to check out. The Vietnam war is cool.

          ALFA Antiterror. I liked the previous game by the team, but this one turned out to suck balls. I stopped paying for games after that.

                Well for me most the games I bought are bad. That's a sad commentary for the state of PC games.

                Firstly, none of the sequels are as good as the original, with the exceptions of Panzer General and Warlords. Civ 2 is not bad but it's too much like Civ and I played too much of that.

                Some of the particularly bad ones include: CtP, The Sims, Lords of the Realm II and Star Fleet Battles. LotR has a serious bug and cheats. SFB has a piss poor interface and does no justice to the boardgame of the same name.

                  Axis & Allies 4.2 is out...it's patched up. Of course, nobody has ever played the AI so it's still unplayable. The AI just sits in England and builds subs until they die.
