Estonians should show their friendship with the Russian people.

They should put up a statue of Yeltsin

                  Eltsin wasn't Russian.
Besides, they've decorated him with their pitty medals already.

I would prefer to see him in the court.

it was the culmination of his shift away from liberalism. He went from allying with the liberals, against the coup plotters and communists, to allying with the billionaires against the communists, to allying with the power ministries.

Polands first post communist leader was a dissident union leader. Czechos first post Communist leader was a dissident writer. Only later where they followed by reformist ex-Communists. In Russia, the Soviet era dissidents were sidelined, and the first post-Communist leader WAS a reformist ex-Communist. Is it surprising then, that he was succeeeded by an Ex-KGB agent commited to "sovereign democracy"?

Putin is commited to democracy a thousand times more than Eltsin was.
