  • Blountberg has experienced great growth during the years 10-14. The city is no longer a slum: while in 2010 almost the entire residential population consisted of low-wealth sims, these five years saw a boom of the middle class, which has almost come to equal the lower-class population. The shift was also mirrored in the commerical and industrial sectors, as CS$ was replaced by CO$$ as the leading commercial sector (although Blountberg's commercial is still tiny compared to others in the region), and dirty industry growth was halted as the manufacturing sector really took off.

Also, the budget is posting a healthy profit of $700 per month... which is good considering we're currently paying more than $1200 per month interest on $100,000 loans outstanding. Once those are paid off we'll have almost $2000/month surplus to be put towards more services.

      New Connections Made
      To East Central:
I utilized two more of the road connections between our cities; they should already connect to your road system.

      To Bubble Junction:
I added a new avenue from the Blount Manufacturing area, but you'll have to add a bridge to get to it; it's not imperative at this time.
I also added a subway connection near the existing road connection... if you hook that to your commercial districts, a lot of the middle class residents living near my downtown will take it to their jobs in your city, relieving congestion on the road connection.
Our rails also aren't hooking up, maybe you could take a look at that...

Good. I'm halfway through '12 now and have just made a deal with you, buying 3000mw/hour. This deal, aside from giving my city alot of breadth to grow, also allowed me to cut back on my windmills and is actually saving me money.

I've also signed a deal with El Dorado to take all my garbage. Currently 263 tons a month, but hopefully that will drop signifigantly once the 12 year back-log of trash is cleaned up.

              • Mergdale '15:

It's been relatively slow going for Mergdale the past five years. With all of the land developed, there is little else that Mergdale can do but wait for new construction projects. Despite a great deal of talk about building commercial sky-scrapers, there has not been any constructed as of yet.

Radioactive decay from the missiles, having the prisoners run on gigantic hamster wheels, or a bug feature , take your pick.

                            • Or you could rebuild the connection and see if it will show then... sometimes that happens.

My guess is that the beach is close enough to the other side to power it.
