Here's something weird: I've got a really nice team (on paper) in a non-Poly IDP league that's wallowing at 1-8 with this personnel:

QB - TBrady, Roethlisberger
RB - AMorris, SRidley, SJackson, DeMarco
WR - DBryant, BLloyd, DBowe, Torrey Smith
TE - AHernandez, GOlsen

Am I crazy, or does 1-8 seem like an insane outcome with that talent?
It's not just unlucky; this team is last in scoring as well...

1-8 seems low, but your WRs are a combination of not very good to begin with, AND not many 'big games'. Your RBs are okay, but not incredible - Demarco is a disappointment, SJax is not SJax 2008, and Morris/Ridley are sometimes very good sometimes mediocre. Brady, even, hasn't been particularly solid either. I am not surprised that team has a losing record, though 1-8 is a bit harsh.

Yeah, I've got Amendola, too. But I can't make the playoffs at 1-8 and there's no carryover to '13, so I see no reason to tinker much with the team other than the waiver wire.

Ten teams, live draft from the #5 slot. I went Brady-DeMarco-SJax-Hernandez, then took Lloyd, Bryant and Bowe. While SJax was a mistake, at the time I still thought it was a pretty good draft...

Morris and Ridley have actually been good, dependable (if not spectacular) producers. The big disappointments have been Lloyd and Dez. I figured one of them would be good, but both have been sub-average consistently. I thought Torrey might be a solution, but Flacco went south. Bowe's QB problems haven't helped either. Add in the injuries to DeMarco, Hernandez, Amendola (yup, got him in the 12th) and Cedric (shudder) Benson, and it's like a formula for mediocrity.

And of course, I'm not exactly burning it up with my matchup selections either. Just kind of a cursed team.

Hoping they absorb all my bad luck for this season.

Your WR's and TE's are terrible, Jrabbit. Not talent-wise but because all of those guys have done next to nothing.

It's been awhile again, and it doesn't really matter this week cause I'm playing a team where the owner disappeared a few weeks ago and is starting 3 players on a bye, but just in case Shaun Draughn decides it's time to hit the record books, I'm going to as my weakly question:

WR L.Moore (NO) vs Atl
WR K.Britt (Ten) at Mia

Moore is at home in a game New Orleans needs to win to keep their meager playoff hopes alive. Moore usually plays pretty good at home, but only had 2 catches last week; and this game is looking to be a high scoring shoot out. However, since TE J.Graham is not back full, it's possible that Moore's production will continue to decline as Brees targets his favorite TE more and more.

Britt is, as usual, an outstanding talent. He will also have his rookie QB back, but outside of Locker being able to throw deeper routes, I'm not really sure that's a good thing. Plus, Miami has a mediorce pass defense.

Who will get the most yards?

Lance Moore was only targeted twice last week, and Graham is getting healthier.
Plus, Tennessee is a desperate team. With Locker back, they are sure to take some shots deep.
