He certainly contributed. If he doesn't miss Moss early that's a touchdown instead of a field goal. Missed an open Welker for either a big gain or a touchdown. Missed Moss again when he was open to continue a drive. He didn't do well today...never does in Denver, for some reason. They're not bad. They do need things to break their way if they're going to win right now, which hasn't been the case for quite a while. The defense actually looks pretty good when they decide to turn it on, but they're playing a lot of very basic schemes still...Belichick doesn't trust the kids yet. Even playing as badly as he was, Brady was still doing enough to win until Light went out (bad news) and the left side of the line started to let Denver's rush through. That's where the fumble at the end came from, btw. Given how well the defense played without Mayo and with Wilfork injured, they have potential to be pretty good if/when they let it fly. The offense only needs Brady to get over the inconsistent play and they'll be fine. Injuries are starting to get worrying on that side of the ball though, with Light and Taylor...they're deep, but I don't know how long it can continue.Originally posted by Ben Kenobi View Post"In the beginning was the Word. This was their first game I've seen all season, they went up 17-10, and didn't score a point after the half. NE is running out of time to fix these things.
