    Mother****er, mother****er, mother****, ****, ****!

Does anyone know someway I can watch this game online? I don't think I can get it through NHL GameCenter, since it is on the muther****ing NHL Network.

      My observations:

Game was very even and both sides played well throughout. Canucks had the misfortune to get scored on twice on the PP.

First PP goal, boarding on Kesler was not called, leads to a turnover and a weak goal.
LOL...you think that was a boarding non-call? I see you didn't mention the egregious penalty by Bieksa that HAD to be called.

Second PP goal, bad call by the refs on Bieksa. Canuck breaks a stick and they score.
Are you KIDDING ME? It was obvious. It had to be call.

As for "Canuck breaks a stick"? Mitchell SLASHED a stick but HIS broke. It's another dirty play from a team of dirty players with a dirty, scummy fanbase. There are about a dozen non-calls on the Canucks throughout the game, and Mitchell breaking his stick was one of them. I think it should've been called, giving Chicago a 5 on 3. I mean, it was OBVIOUS. If it wasn't the end few minutes of a tied playoff game, it WOULD have been called.

There's a million other examples of the Canucks getting away with ****. Kane got highsticked and then got another jab while on the ground, that could've been TWO penalties giving the Blackhawks a 2 min 5-3...but neither was even called, despite the first being extremely obvious.

The Canucks cannot complain about the reffing in this game. Your penalty kill sucked and your players didn't play well. Kesler was absolutely brutal, and killed your team if Bieksa hadn't already. He first took a lame, obvious penalty with a few minutes left and then he came in like a human bowling ball and knocked over Salo leading to the easy empty netter.

Just a mass of incompetence on the Canucks. Luongo couldn't save you tonight.

I still think the Canucks will win the series. Sticks aren't going to break on every powerplay, and Luongo is overdue for a good game.
Luongo has been giving you good games. These have been good games. It's the team infront that is inept, which is something I've long tried to tell you. They've been outshot in EVERY game this series, you can't blame this on Luongo.

As for the sticks...again, if you don't want your stick to break, maybe Mitchell shouldn't be swinging it at other people's sticks to try to break them? That was one of the many highlights of the night...a dirty play by Mitchell and it backfires, resulting in a goal. Just awesome. It was one-upped by Kesler's inability to skate without hitting his own stationary players though.

      • You must remember, Ben, the Canucks skaters are a gang so inept that they've scored on their own net on a delayed powerplay.

Not many teams have managed to pull that off.

Which one? The second one was horse****. The first one, not so much. The boarding directly lead to the goal, and I was waiting for the penalty call that never came.

Are you KIDDING ME? It was obvious. It had to be call.
It was a ticky-tack penalty which wasn't being called throughout the game. It was a great game up until the 6 minute mark where the refs decided that Chicago should win. I wish I was at GM Place too, and I would have winged garbage on the ice at the refs after that horse**** call.

As for "Canuck breaks a stick"? Mitchell SLASHED a stick but HIS broke. It's another dirty play from a team of dirty players with a dirty, scummy fanbase.
And Calgary fans are pure as the driven snow? Please. The only reason they all own jerseys is because they bought them when the jumped on the bandwagon during the cup run. So new, I bet most aren't even creased.

At least they got a goal out of it, or Chicago would have been hard done by. My heart bleeds for them. Mitchell's stick holds, the Canucks kill the penalty, and we would have gone back to a good game.

That is all I was hoping for. Let the boys play, resolve it on the ice, not the penalty box.

There's a million other examples of the Canucks getting away with ****. Kane got highsticked and then got another jab while on the ground, that could've been TWO penalties giving the Blackhawks a 2 min 5-3...but neither was even called, despite the first being extremely obvious.
Good thing Kane whines to the refs about everything. There was nothing dirty about that play.

The Canucks cannot complain about the reffing in this game. Your penalty kill sucked
It's the best in the playoffs. They've had 3 goals scored on them because of broken sticks. You are calling a penalty kill above 90 percent as ****ty? Neither of the goals on the PP should have been scored. If you want to point out a ****ty PK, look at the Hawks. Canucks were 1 for 2, and the Hawks were only 2/5.

Imagine if the Canucks had equal penalties, it would be amazing!

and your players didn't play well. Kesler was absolutely brutal, and killed your team if Bieksa hadn't already. He first took a lame, obvious penalty with a few minutes left and then he came in like a human bowling ball and knocked over Salo leading to the easy empty netter.
After the refs had already decided the game. I left in disgust after I saw the fans throwing crap on the ice. Refs were brutal. This is the Stanley cup playoffs, let the boys play.

Just a mass of incompetence on the Canucks. Luongo couldn't save you tonight.
Luongo let in two weak goals, but no, the Canucks are a 'one man team' and Luongo never, ever performs less then his usual ability.

His last good game was on game 3. He needs to come out lights out for game 6.

Yet you don't call the hit on Kesler, with his back turned as dirty. I wouldn't be surprised if he got a concussion out of the play.

I have to go to church now, but hell. Never thought I'd see a Flames homer absolutely fellating the Hawks.

            • You're the stereotypical Canucks fan, Ben. That's all I'll say.

This is the reason why there's almost no jerseys in the audience...old or new. It's because 90% of you are bandwagon, fairweather fans and 95% of you know close to nothing about hockey.

It's the worst crowd I've ever seen in NHL games. The littering the ice after cleanly losing the game was as classless a thing I've ever seen outside of Philly. The fans chanting things, which I can hear clearly with the surround sound, are so bizarre you'd think they're not even watching the same thing. For instance, after one of the most blatant penalty calls of a high sticking there's some Canucks fan yelling "OPEN YOUR EYES, REF!!!!". If you look at the tsn.ca comments, virtually every Canucks fan is *****ing about the reffing in the last game rather than the game itself, or even how poorly many Canuck players played. These people don't know hockey, they just know VANCOUVER IS AWESOME AND VANCOUVER SHOULD WIN. Penalties are only ever to be called on opposing teams, not against the Canucks!

I've never, ever met a serious Canucks fan that had any true understanding of the sport. I suppose a true hockey fan would probably not be a Canucks fan by virtue of them being one of the hockey clubs to never, ever win a Stanley Cup and it's looking like they never will.

              GO CANUCKS.

              • The other thing that is intensely amusing about your posts aside from your obvious lies which we've come to expect (eg, penalties were 3 to 1 against the Canucks) is your incredibly stupid comments whining about how the Canucks were taking more penalties.

The Canucks got more penalties BECAUSE THEY WERE PLAYING DIRTY. They should've gotten more penalties, if anything. There were many instances of dirty Canuck players getting away with far more than they should have, including:
                - needling Khabibulin in the ribs with the stick by D. Sedin a few seconds after play had ended (in one of the few blown calls of the game, Ladd actually got the penalty for shoving back at Sedin and protecting his goaltender)
                - Several high-sticks to the face unchecked
                - Several slashes uncalled, including the one you keep whining about where Mitchell slashed someone's stick and his own broke (that's an instant penalty 99% of the time!)
                - Burrows on at least 3 occasions over the past 2 games skating up to Khabibulin to taunt him during commercial breaks (this is at the very least an Unsportsmanlike Conduct call, but the refs didn't do **** -- I suspect the NHL will though now that Ron Maclean and Hrudey made a big deal about it, as they should)
                - A Canuck crosschecking Ladd after play had ended infront of the Vancouver net. Ladd was facing centre ice with his back to the net when he got hit, resulting in almost a 90 degree bend backwards over the net which is a VERY dangerous play (the back isn't made to bend like that so quickly).
                - Several instances of holding and interference that normally would be called, but were not

The Canucks should've had more penalties than they got. I thought the refs were VERY hands-off in the game. But if you spend so much of the time acting like dirty little *****es as the Canucks did, they should not be surprised when they get called with more penalties. The fact that you think penalties should always be even no matter which team is playing dirty is bizarrely pathetic but strangely predictable.

I've been a Canucks fan longer then you've been a Flames fan. I still have my jersey from 1988, my most recent is from 2002, with the red alternate jersey. My favourites were the black 80's Jerseys and the white ones of the early 90's.

I have 4 different Canuck jerseys.

The Canucks have consistantly been the most penalised team in this playoffs. The fans have every right to be upset about the poor and inconsistant officiating which is costing us games.

So the only true fans are bandwagoners who cheer for winning squads? Seriously Asher, I've met some classy Flames fans and some that I keep in touch with, and they aren't anything like you.

First off, they think it's lame to play the 'we've won a cup so we're better'.

Secondly, what about Joncha? He's a diehard Canucks fan just like me. Do you think he has no knowledge of the sport?

The officiating was terrible in the game. You can't see it because you have your anti-Canuck goggles on. I can't wait until they win a cup and then I'm sure you'll be saying that they are dirty or that they are 'unworthy' or some other bull**** of that sort.

Calgary earned their cup, but do you want to know something funny. They have exactly 0 hall of famers who played the majority of their career with the Flames.

I'm sure, we'd all love to see you officiating a Canucks game. Then we would see your true homer goggles. After 40 penalties in the game, you'd never officiate a game ever.

Seriously, have you ever been a referee? I have. I used to do volleyball, and that last game was atrocious. You never want to have a decision that you made decide the outcome of the game. Ever.

                      So do I, you assclown.

Hey, what happened in 1988 for the Canucks?

The Canucks have consistantly been the most penalised team in this playoffs.
THEY ARE BY FAR THE DIRTIEST TEAM IN THE PLAYOFFS.

Why is this shocking to you? Reality check, Ben. Dirty teams get penalized lots.

FWIW, you are a liar. The most penalized team in the playoffs on a per-game basis was Montreal (25 PPM/G), the most penalized team in the playoffs on a PIM basis is...wait for it... CHICAGO (165).

Secondly, what about Joncha? He's a diehard Canucks fan just like me. Do you think he has no knowledge of the sport?

Get ****ed. The ONLY people complaining about the reffing in the games are Canucks fans.

There were tons of missed calls on either side, but Vancouver had more missed calls to their benefit. THEY ARE BY FAR, A MUCH DIRTIER TEAM. Chicago played very disciplined hockey last night and Vancouver played like a bunch of talentless goons. Look who got penalized and look who won. You'll always have an excuse.

I can't wait until they win a cup
You can't wait because it's not going to happen. Not with the Sedins as the pillars of the skaters.

The fact that you reffed volleyball in probably some church camp and you're using that as some kind of credential card when I've listed specific instances of the game last night just cements this.
