I was just searching for a reasonable explanation for how the Hawks could've won when being so thoroughly outplayed.
Look, if you are going to make fun of my argument, at least get it right. It was a tight, and close game all the way through. Canucks outplayed the Hawks and Hawks got a lucky bounce to tie it up. End of story.
Hawks nearly get scored on and bounce back in OT. Were we watching the same game? Do you believe that the Hawks 'thoroughy outplayed' the Canucks? If so, the Canucks have nothing to fear from the Hawks.Scouse Git (2) La Fayette Adam Smith Solomwi and Loinburger will not be forgotten.

It's really par for the course with the Canucks. It's part of why they're so widely hated.
Are you going to whine about all the penalties the Canucks didn't get called on for the entire game? At least they are still playing, unlike Calgary.Scouse Git (2) La Fayette Adam Smith Solomwi and Loinburger will not be forgotten.

The worst part of Marc Crawford wasn't his obvious bias or his bumbling ineptitude, it's his ****ing voice. He's like the pimply teenage character on The Simpsons."The issue is there are still many people out there that use religion as a crutch for bigotry and hate. Like Ben."

How many Stanley Cups did he bring to Vancouver?
For what it's worth, Marc Crawford has won 1 Stanley Cup. Craig Simpson has won 2 Stanley Cups.
This is brutal, Ben. Brutal.

Honestly Ben, how much ass do I need to kick before you realize you can't compete here?"The issue is there are still many people out there that use religion as a crutch for bigotry and hate. Like Ben."

No, thank God. I was never happier to get the TSN coverage.

Do I need to give you a handy chart so you can follow arguments now?
What's he doing now? He's not even broadcasting for the CBC in the playoffs. Simpson is actually BETTER than Crawford, THAT IS HOW BAD HE WAS. CBC has benched him.
Right, I'm sure all the Flames and Oilers enjoy watching a broadcaster who says **** like the Canucks took a dive. Even the ref didn't think that was a dive. Canuck slipped, and fell.

As a coach?
Where did I say he was a Flame?

Explain this statement made to me:
Give me a call when you have a former Canuck doing the play-by-play for Calgary, and we'll talk. Simpson is a total *****.
You *****ed at ME with this comment. It's implicit that you are *****ing about a former Flame doing play-by-play for the Canucks. Calgary has ****-all to do with a former Oiler calling a Canucks game. The honest thing to do is to admit here you thought Simpson was a former Flame who won no Stanley Cups. In fact he's a former Oiler who won two Stanley Cups. Additionally, Marc Crawford (a former Canuck) called MANY games for the Flames this season, a fact which you were ALSO oblivious to by virtue of you being completely ignorant about the sport of hockey.
Case dismissed, you dishonest *****."The issue is there are still many people out there that use religion as a crutch for bigotry and hate. Like Ben."

The problem you have with Simpson, Ben, is simple. He's not a homer broadcaster. He's called many Flames games as well (and I assure you, the Flames/Oilers rivalry is far deeper than Canucks/Oilers) and he seemed to call it as he saw it, on both sides. I don't mind him.
I get the Sportsnet Pacific coverage for Canucks games during the regular season, and the homerism for those announcers is off the charts bad. I'd watch a game with the Canucks being down 3-0 with minutes to go and they'd talk about how they could still win this, and what a terrific job players like Willie Mitchell and Daniel Sedin were doing on the ice. Every time a penalty was called against Vancouver, it's "questionable". Whenever a player touched a Canuck, it was a "non-call". It was laughably bad.
Now the Canucks fans have this ridiculous standard of homer commentary and whenever an announcer says something negative about the Canucks it's unacceptable?
Grow up."The issue is there are still many people out there that use religion as a crutch for bigotry and hate. Like Ben."

I don't think the argument is that difficult to understand. Do I have to spell it out word for word and commentate my arguments?
The honest thing to do is to admit here you thought Simpson was a former Flame who won no Stanley Cups.
You know, you could actually win arguments if you assumed that your opponents knew what they were talking about. Why should I admit something that is false? I'd be a liar if I said I believed Simpson was a former flame.
In fact he's a former Oiler who won two Stanley Cups. Additionally, Marc Crawford (a former Canuck) called MANY games for the Flames this season, a fact which you were ALSO oblivious to by virtue of you being completely ignorant about the sport of hockey.
Case dismissed, you dishonest *****., right. Dishonest.
