Wow, such a strong effort, call me impressed. What did that take, 30 seconds? Wow this guy really gets dirty and into the trenches fighting for the American people.

"We need to send a clean bill with just $2,000 survival checks and a separate spending/covid relief bill.
“Negotiating everything into one bill is how we got here, since Trump wants to sign a bill with survival checks, let’s send one to his desk right away.”

And gee, it was Trumps own representative for the negotiations that came up with the compromise bill that he later trashed...
Maybe he should have gotten involved himself instead of hiding in the White House pouting...Keep on Civin'

Never said I was... and frankly, I thought it sucked. most compromises do.
But the point I was making is that Trump had checked out on it and left it to his guy... he didn't stay involved.
And frankly, I think his jumping into the fray now is based more on Trump trying to be liked and pissing off the people that didn't support him like he wanted. Yeah, opinion, but I believe it.Keep on Civin'

Again... please point out where I have EVER said I like the pork or approve of it.
And don't try to paint Trump as a anti porker. In this case, maybe, but in the past, he's been as bad as the rest trying to get his stuff and agenda added to bills.Keep on Civin'

Of course he's anti-pork. He promised to sign a clean bill giving everyone $1200. And now he's going up to $2000 to make a deal.I drank beer. I like beer. I still like beer. ... Do you like beer Senator?

Wow, you really do just reflexively spout whatever they tell you. I love how you're blindly accepting the idea that the greediest, most self-dealing sociopath on the planet has some kind of ethical objection to pork. It's truly laughable.
Again, if he actually cared about the details of the bill, all he had to do was send Mitch his checklist. Instead, he wants to broker whatever deal gets done, hoping to force the rank and file to choose between loyalty to Trump and GOP. It reads like a revenge shot at McConnell, TBH.

He isn't a sociopath but you have a bad problem called Trump Derangement Syndrome and it causes you to have absurd beliefs to the point of hilarity.

Fox News Anchor Says Trump 'Throwing' Mnuchin 'Under the Bus' With Stimulus Criticism
"President Trump is throwing his treasury secretary, Steven Mnuchin, under the bus," Bret Baier said Wednesday during a segment of Fox News show America's Newsroom. "Mnuchin has been in the conversation for months with [congressional] leadership about how this was going to go and what compromise they could agree to, and finally getting to this compromise that was passed through both chambers and now the president's saying, 'It's not good enough for me.'"We the people are the rightful masters of both Congress and the courts, not to overthrow the Constitution but to overthrow the men who pervert the Constitution. - Abraham Lincoln
