This guy just goes on and on. Can anybody really tell more about Ben? Yes, I lurked from time to time in the past... But has he always been this insufferable and ridiculous? And the way he defends Texas is almost sad.

For there is [another] kind of violence, slower but just as deadly, destructive as the shot or the bomb in the night. This is the violence of institutions -- indifference, inaction, and decay. This is the violence that afflicts the poor, that poisons relations between men because their skin has different colors. - Bobby Kennedy (Mindless Menance of Violence)

Ben routinely lies about Texas and isn't worth talking to. I even linked to us official data showing his numbers were complete bull**** yet the lying little crap stain is back reporting numbers he knows are false.Originally posted by Giancarlo View PostFalse figures that are also outdated. Again, Texas is in a recession now. Most of the high paying oil jobs evaporated.

My guess is she needs an actual progressive to get the Bernie folks on her side. Also she knows the VP has no real power so she will easily be able to sideline and isolate a progressive VP.Originally posted by kentonio View PostYeah Castro has seemed likely for a while now. Can't see Hillary wanting a progressive in the VP role, especially one like Warren who has no problem openly speaking her mind.Try http://wordforge.net/index.php for discussion and debate.

Well the main issue with Warren is she holds a senate seat and the governor of her state is republican, who would appoint a republican in her place. That would make it more difficult for democrats to take the Senate. That is at least what I have heard from democrats. Julian Castro is pretty liberal on many issues. His youth and energy may also inspire young voters. Plus he will obviously be appealing to Latinos because of his story.Originally posted by Dinner View PostMy guess is she needs an actual progressive to get the Bernie folks on her side. The thread got deleted in the purge, but the Wiki source you quoted (and that Ben quoted) were both unsubstantiated. The BEA pages they claimed to use as sources were invalid.Originally posted by Dinner View Post
All told, the actual BEA data showed that California was above Texas. One day Canada will rule the world, and then we'll all be sorry.

Also, the BEA website let's you go interactive with the data to make your own maps:

The actual data shows that California is far above Texas. And Texas has a higher poverty rate than the national average and that a large majority of their jobs are barely above minimum wage... before anyone makes an argument about lower living costs. For there is [another] kind of violence, slower but just as deadly, destructive as the shot or the bomb in the night. Naw, your clearly get the stats wrong Giancarlo - you are supposed to get rid of blacks, hispanics and white trash (incuding Ben) when you make calculations for texas - then they do better
With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.

Of course. I was sooooo wrong. I should only count the Texas republican party elite that owns half of the state.Originally posted by BlackCat View PostNaw, your clearly get the stats wrong Giancarlo - you are supposed to get rid of blacks, hispanics and white trash (incuding Ben) when you make calculations for texas - then they do better

Median household income!= state GDP. But then you know those are two entirely different concepts? IF California is second in income and only 14th in what they actually produce, that speaks volumes. Obviously Californians are overpaid.So... Median household income California ranks third and Texas 25th lol. Ben lies about everything.Scouse Git (2) La Fayette Adam Smith Solomwi and Loinburger will not be forgotten.
