IMO - if you're willing to sell your foodstamps for smokes and booze, you shouldn't be getting them. I have no qualms with giving a fair deal to people scamming the system so I can use them in the manner they were intended. You know, to actually buy food.

Quite a few places, actually. Judging rightly involves 'discriminating' between good things and less good things and between good things and bad things all the time.

What sin? I'm not the one selling public benefits for smokes and booze. Sales would instantly stop if the folks selling them were cut off from their benefits. In which case, I'd be providing a public service to Texas by helping them find people who didn't need the benefits.
