This is a serious question which should be considered without the retarded "anyone who brings up subjects I don't like will be called names because I am afraid of discussing the topic" crap.Last edited by Dinner; January 13, 2015, 21:33.Try http://wordforge.net/index.php for discussion and debate.

Survey Report More than two years after the death of Osama bin Laden, concern about Islamic extremism remains widespread among Muslims from South Asia to
That PEW Poll is the source. Isn't terrorism and who supports it a conversation worth having? Even if if the knee jerk reactions of some liberals is to try to avoid it and, wrongfully, screaming racism?
Here is something else to consider. Did you know that anti-Semtic attacks in western Europe are at an all time post WW2 high especially in France, Germany, and the UK? DId you know that 74% of the Jewish pepole in France say they are seriously considering leaving the country because of the surge in anti-Semtic violence almost entirely caused by muslims? So many of them say life is becoming unlivable for them that France is now the #1 source of immigrants to Israel and emigration from France by Jews is also at a post WW2 high.
Isn't this a problem worth talking about? Isn't their concerns about constantly being harrayed and attacked by muslim thugs legitiment? If it is so bad that they feel they have to leave in record numbers then why the hell isn't the French government doing anything about it?Last edited by Dinner; January 13, 2015, 21:31.Try http://wordforge.net/index.php for discussion and debate.

Oh, and before some troll asks for links.
Nearly 75 percent of thousands of French Jews who participated in a recent survey said they are considering emigrating.

BTW the 1/3rd figure is the world wide average among muslim majority countries of muslims who support terrorism and/or terrorist organizations. It is higher in some countries with 46% of Egypt's population supporting terrorist groups while 35% of Palestinians say they support Al Qaeda. Hell, even "moderate" Muslim countries like Indonesia show 20% of the population supports Al Qaeda. At those numbers it is not a tiny minority as some people claim.
The problem with support for terrorism is extremely wide spread in the Muslim community yet no one seems willing to talk about this issue and instead just knee jerk calls someone a racist for wanting to talk about it. That's a load of horse ****.
So, why are we even accepting immigrants from places which widely support terrorism against us? You might say "not all of them do support terrorism", which is fair, but how do you tell which one do and which don't reliably? If you can't is it better to be politically correct and just accept that more and more terrorism supporters will be let in or do you do the logical thing and stop letting in people from countries where a high percentage of people support terrorism? That is a serious question we should be asking.Try http://wordforge.net/index.php for discussion and debate.

Run a background check?“It is no use trying to 'see through' first principles. If you see through everything, then everything is transparent. But a wholly transparent world is an invisible world. To 'see through' all things is the same as not to see.”

Next, read this article: http://www.businessinsider.com/afp-b...ficials-2015-1
Remember that PEW Poll I linked to covering every muslim majority country? In Nigeria only 2% of the population supports terrorism yet even with only support from 2%(!) Boko Harrah is able to launch one operation which kills 2000 in just a few days. They also do just about daily terrorist attacks across the country.
So... Even just a tiny but dedicaTed group of terrorist supporters in a country can do pretty massive damage. We're back to immigration policy questions and should we just accept that letting in muslims is going to mean a lot of terrorist supporters get in or do we decide the risk is too high?
Or I guess we could go with Mobius's preferred method where we just ignore the problem, call anyone who raises the issue names, and hope the terrorism problem just goes away.Last edited by Dinner; January 13, 2015, 23:04.Try http://wordforge.net/index.php for discussion and debate.

My guess is people are more willing to tell the truth in an anonymous poll than they would be on an official INS Form. Thus the problem with people not telling the truth. Sure, you could ask and at least screen out the dumb ones but that is still going to mean most of them get through. There just really isn't an effective way.
I suppose you could use profiling as the Israelis and a number of other countries have effectively used profiling in the past. Congress has outlawed that method though and its effectiveness is probably declining anyway as knowledge of what is getting profiled has spread. That is why Al Qaeda was supposedly looking for white women to become bombers and Boko Haram is now using 10 year old girls as suicide bombers. They get through the profiling.
We're back to not having a reliable method to tell good muslims from bad ones. So what do we do and how do we keep the terrorists and their supporters out? This is why a number of people have said cutting the immigration quotas for countries where the population shows a high percentage of support for terrorism would be both effective and a legal way of dealing with this issue.Last edited by Dinner; January 14, 2015, 00:07.Try http://wordforge.net/index.php for discussion and debate.
