It's really hard for me to get excited about cases like this when any partition is going to involve a population exchange anyway. That's what always happens so what's the point? You simply can't have a two state solution without population transfers and it won't be kittens and puppies for everyone and instead it will be a bloody messy business just like it was in India, just like it was in Ireland, just like it was in Israel in 1947, and just like it was in places like Vietnam and Korea. It sucks but why pretend other wise? Just to make people feel good?

Neoconservatives are not the American Taliban. The American Taliban are Christian fundamentalists. Neoconservatives can be Christian but they hold a secular ideology of American exceptionalism and promotion of democracy abroad; not a religious ideology.

Ben is not a neoconservative, though. He is a Canadian Christian Taliban.
