Have you ever heard of eminent domain?
If there is no sound in space, how come you can hear the lasers?

    • So you're down with the State of Virginia taking your bathrooms?

Also, how much does the Israeli government pay West Bankers for the land? On average, how much per acre?

I never thought you were much a fan of the federal government seizing private property. I must have had you confused for someone else.

Besides the use of eminent domain in the US doesn't exactly violate international law

          • Anyone who doesn't agree with eminent domain is now Cliven Bundy.

I don't actually care about international law. The issue here is if Israel is acting in a consistent manner wrt its own law. According to the situation as laid out by the article in the OP, it doesn't appear to be doing even that much.

Given he's hired Israeli surveyors, Israeli lawyers, and chosen for his field of battle the Israeli courts, I do not see how he can not recognize their authority.
No, I did not steal that from somebody on Something Awful.

What are you talking about? There is no international law here. All of this is happening within the jurisdiction of a single country.

yup, albeit they aint trying to convert everyone - kudos to them

Then why does Jesus bless the Centurion and affirm him as having greater faith than anyone else in Israel, even as he is still a Centurion?
because he was the highest ranking official to humble himself before Jesus

Your belief that Christianity is obligate pacifist is incorrect. Some are, but it is not required and it is permissible for Christians to serve in the armed forces.
                    where did Jesus say that?

What's the difference between a loyalist who refuses to acknowledge the authority of congress and a Palestinian who refuses to recognise the authority of Israel?

This is no different from the loyalists whom the United States dispossessed. Having a claim on the land with English title.
Other than Jesus, to whom is their loyalty?

the USA rebelled against Britain, Israel exists with its blessing. Your analogy is Fubar before adding insult to injury by labeling these people loyalists.

Of course the reason they aren't trying to convert others is because they see themselves as the "Chosen Ones" and everyone else can just rot.

This is both not true and deeply anti-semitic.

                        • It's kind of true and you can go **** yourself with your labeling of everything as anti-Semitic.

                          • I only label things as anti-semitic when they are. You are painting Israeli Jews with a brush. You are saying that their religion considers them the "Chosen Ones" (sort of true, but not in that way) and that consequently they don't give a **** about people of other faiths (not true at all).

                              • You can read the Torah to see quite clearly that the Jewish faith doesn't care for the Gentiles. The vast majority of the texts involving killing of 'others' kind of exist in the Torah.
