Having the negotiations out in the open would have given them an air of legitimacy, it makes no sense at all from their end. Two months before the exchange of POWs John McCain said he supported a POW exchange (and the only American POW was Bergdahl) and even attempted to slag Obama for not doing an exchange sooner. Now... Well, now, the two faced **** is claiming the POW exchange was just the worst thing ever. **** John McCain.

It reminds me how McCain spent a year whining about how the US hadn't attacked Libya and then the second Obama actually did what McCain said he wanted McCain flipped a 180 and cried about the intervention in Libya being the worst thing ever. The man has no shame nor does his party.
