There's enough money coming in to fund the government. If Obama were willing to let the country default rather than not get his way? I don't see how the republicans could be blamed for it. Tea Bagger-type Republicans finally relented to pressure from moderate (sane, smart) Republicans and Democrats; they did not give up because they were thinking of the greater good of their country.

There was nothing grown-up about how the Tea Bagger-type Republicans gave up; especially now that some of them insist that they will try to shut the government down again, in January to continue their fight.

Reducing the debt is not an impending crisis that warrants shutting down the government.

The problem isn't "Obamacare", necessarily. The problem is that health care is 20% of our economy for no ****ing good reason, and "Obamacare" does sweet ****-all to solve that problem.
