The same sick world that seeks to turn murder into mercy.

Murdering someone because you believe their life is 'not worth living', or in the case where the patients themselves believe is such - is contrary to the medical profession. Why heal when you can kill? You're assuming that just because someone suffers from depression that we should indulge their whims when if they are properly treated then they can eventually overcome things. Death isn't the solution. Treatment of their pain is the solution.

Giving someone access to drugs that they can use to kill themselves isn't "murder" any more than selling someone a gun that they can use to kill themselves.

I actually talked to him about that and he just laughed and laughed and said people like that are what gives Catholics a bad name. He said that was God's job.

Let's try that statement with slavery, Rah. Some things are just wrong and it doesn't matter who does them, it's still wrong. Slavery is one, euthanasia another.

You should be trying to prevent people from dying from it. It's not about whether someone is 'forcing their beliefs', it's all about what exactly is euthanasia?
