He's just a sadist who likes the thought that other people are suffering.

Funny how Aeson dislikes forcing others to do something against their will, while you just want to force others to submit to yours.
Right. I'm the one stating that when someone says, "My life sucks so much that I want you to kill me", that we give them treatment.

      You? You're sharpening the knife.

So other people should leave according to how you feel they should. Gotcha.
So Nestor, if your best friend comes up to you and says, "hey, dude. My life sucks. I want to die. I want you to kill me", your response is?

"Kill yourself, I don't want to get my hands dirty!"
"I'll be your bestest friend ever. Give me the knife and I'll stab you"
"Wow, dude, you want to talk about it before you make a decision you can't change"

Right. Because I believe that it's greater punishment to have the murderer face the consequences of his actions for the rest of his natural life, that makes me a sadist.

There shouldn't be a cop out. You murder someone, your life is gonna suck. You don't want a sucky life, don't murder someone.

The last three posts change nothing. You want to force YOUR belief on others. No matter how many times you say it.

If you're gonna end it do it the manly way, with a .45. I suppose that leaves folks with a criminal record out in the cold though.

My point is this - Euthanasia gives the weakest, sickest and most vulnerable people the choice that they can't escape anyways - death. That's not a choice. That's an ultimatum. "You are too expensive", "you are too worthless", "you are too much of a burden on your family". etc, etc, etc.

So yeah, I believe we should be protecting these people and looking out for them rather than killing them when they become inconvenient.

Also, when are you handing in your Catholic card, Rah? It's expired.

In what kind of ****ed up sick world is it better to force a terminally ill person who may be suffering agonizing pain each day to live like that for maybe years, when all they want is release?

Again, it's just your belief. Just keep saying it doesn't change that it is just your belief. And the argument isn't about when they become inconvenient, it's about what they choose for the circumstances.

And again, where do you get the moral authority to determine whether I'm a Catholic or not.
I'm sure your confessor would agree with me that you don't have that moral authority. He would tell you to leave the judging to the Lord.

Equally stupid but at least it was a "VATICAN OFFICIAL"
Last time I checked, Ben was not an official of anything, despite the supposed authority he pretends to post with.

We'd better ban guns so people won't have the freedom to decide when they will end their own life.
