In what kind of ****ed up sick world is it better to force a terminally ill person who may be suffering agonizing pain each day to live like that for maybe years, when all they want is release?
Murdering someone because you believe their life is 'not worth living', or in the case where the patients themselves believe is such - is contrary to the medical profession. Why heal when you can kill? You're assuming that just because someone suffers from depression that we should indulge their whims when if they are properly treated then they can eventually overcome things. Death isn't the solution. Treatment of their pain is the solution.
